XP: our little wonders and TTTS twins have names!

Liana Sophia and Amaya Noel.

We had already named them before we found out about their disease, and decided to share the names now - even though it might make losing one of them that much harder. But people wanted to pray for them by names, and I wanted them to be known by their names ... especially if one were to not make it. Liana means "My God has answered", by the way, and Amaya means "night rain."

Things are going okay as far as I can tell, although I am hating the bed rest Please pray for our 1-week post-surgery u/s on Monday, it's another big milestone. Love you all.

Those are wonderful names!

Having just found out I am having twins I have been reading up on TTTS and it seems like as long as it is treated and monitored there are high success rates.  My thoughts are with you and your girls!

Bedrest is definitely hard; I went through a lot of it with my pg too. Lots of movies, magazines, maybe a season or two of a favorite t.v. show on dvd, taking up knitting and online shopping helps a ton! Take care!
