AW: Profile done!

Big check mark!  Our profile booklet is FINALLY done.  It took much longer than I expected.  My husband helped with writing it but I did the layout.  I spent all day on it yesterday.  I had a proof printed yesterday, I proof-read this AM, and now the printer is printing it.  Yea!!!!  We should officially start "waiting for a match" very very soon!!!

I love it but I am hoping it doesn't look too scrapbook-ish.  (see....now the second guessing starts!)

Don't for a minute second guess your design or content.  I'm sure it reflects you and your husband, and it will speak to the person/family who is the right match for your family.

I agree with CS.  Congrats on finishing and don't second guess what you have clearly both spent a great deal of time and thought on.  I think adoption is yet another one of those times that makes us all feel like we're back in highschool and trying to make a good impression while still proving ourselves and our own individuality.  It can be hard, but try to just enjoy and savor the end result knowing that it's you!  The people who see it will have a glimpse of you and your DH and that's what you want.

Here's to a short wait...doesn't it feel good to finally be 'waiting'  haha

Phew!  Good job.  That is the best feeling.  Make many, many copies.  We even put one in our safety deposit box at the bank!  (Our agency had a fire last summer, and all existing profiles were destroyed.)
