Early Teething?

Anyone's DC cut teeth early? DS has been cranky, chewing on everything, sucking o things far more than usual and just generally seems like he doesn't feel well. ?I just talked to my mom and apparently my brother and I both had 2 teeth between 3-3.5 months (DS is 11 weeks). ?I can't bring myself to believe that he could really be teething yet. ?Anyone teethe early? ?What tipped you off?

    DD#1 didn't get her 1st tooth until 12 months.  DD#2 broke her first right at 5 months and had been teething for a few weeks prior.  I'm sure it's possible... lots of drool, crankiness, possible fever...
