Everyone that I know named Sarah just goes by Sarah. I've never known a Sarah to go by a nickname. The only thing I've seen is people use the alternate spelling of Sara.
"Sare-Bear" is the only one I know of, which will work when she's little and perhaps as a pet name from her boyfriend/husband latter on, but her adult friends probably wont use it. Hope it helps.

In the 18th and 19th century, as well as into the early 20th century, Sally was a popular nn for Sarah (especially since your mom, aunt, grandmother, or someone else was Sarah!). Today, not so much. I personally don't think Sarah needs a nn. It's pretty as is.
Actually, there are a lot of traditional nicknames for Sarah, but they're rarely used these days.
Sally and Sadie are the only ones I can think of now, but I know there are others. Try googling maybe. I once found a neat website with unusual nicknames, but I just tried to find it and couldn't.
My step sister is named Sara and her close friends will call her "Sar" (as in rhymes with fair) in casual conversation, but other than that she goes by Sara.
My name is Sara, without the 'h', which is much prettier, btw : ) I've never had a nickname associated with my first name but lots of nicknames from my last name. Most of those I hated so I couldn't wait to change my last name when I got married.

I found the website I was thinking of. It doesn't list any other nicknames besides Sadie and Sally, but I thought I'd give it to you anyway --

I have a friend who uses Sally instead of Sarah.
The only nn's that I ever had were mainly other names.?
SusieQ, Q, Sara Sue, Little Sara, Tiny
and Sue does not exist in my name anywhere. ?
It's one of those names that doesn't really have a nn?
