Is the iPhone basically just the iPod Touch with a phone feaature? Trying to decide if I want to get the touch or wait and get the phone. Any opinions???
Dh says to get the Iphone since you wouldn't have to carry both the ipod and a phone. DH has the ipod touch because the service that comes with the iPhone where we live is not the greatest and Verizon doesn't carry the iPhone. If our carrier had the iphone we'd have those instead of blackberries.
I'm the opposite of pp b/c I drop my phone all the time and it has teeth marks from my dogs chewing it, etc., so I knew that it would be a bad idea for me to get an iPhone b/c I would definitely destroy it. I have the Touch and I really like it, and then I have my crap phone which I still drop all the time. The only problem I have with the Touch is that you can't use the internet feature everywhere like you can with iPhone, only places that have wireless. But then again, you pay for internet with the iPhone and you don't have to with the Touch. But if you are really responsible with your phone then I'd say get the iPhone just to have one less thing to carry around.
Yes, the iPhone is basically the touch plus the phone feature, and internet (over the 3G network).
I have a first generation iPhone and I love it. I keep it in a pouch thing (which I used to keep my iPod in) and throw it in my purse. It does not have a scratch on it.?
DH's is VERY clean! About 6 months ago I put it through the washing machine on a hot cycle, AND the dryer?(Whoops)!?It took a little while before I decided to investigate what it was that I kept hearing banging around in there.?
With the aid of some quick Google searching I was able to save it. It still works great. DH works for Apple and even his co-workers around the office were shocked!
Now I always make sure to check the pants'?pockets?before I?through?the laundry in.?
