how can I get mildew out of stroller fabric?

DH took his stroller out of his vehicle before Christmas and just left it out in the garage.  I've vacuumed over it to get dust off, but there is some mildew on the fabric, and I don't think it comes off to be washed.  And even if it does, it looks like it'd be a PITA to get off and back on.

Anything I can do by hand?

chlorox clean up.  test on a small spot but was shocked that it got almost all of my mildew out of my runnng stroller.

I will recommend using a brush to scrub it with, like a sink brush.  That helps with DD's particularly dirty places.  I second the clorox clean up and a good hosing down after.

Oh and I also used a scrub brush and a stiff toothbrush like the other poster said.  I did it on the back deck and hosed it down and let it dry in the sun.
