I consider Martha purely aspirational. I look at things she does, find cheaper/easier ways to do it myself, & move on. I love most of what she does, but it's completely unrealistic.

For me, it's like watching runway fashion shows. Never.Going.To.Happen. I would look hideous in the clothes, and would have to sell my children to afford them. But, sometimes I take the general themes & hit up Jcrew or somewhere similar & apply them.

have you ever watched "Whatever Martha". It's pretty funny (in small doses)--it's martha's daughter basically bashing her! ?

Agreed, she is a loon!  I was just thinking about Whatever Martha, I have never seen it, but, my sis thinks it is hilarious.

I'm thinking $120 would buy me plenty of heart-shaped boxes, not to mention a day of my life back that I would spend trying to make the boxes (considering Rachael Ray's 30 Minute Meals take me 2 hours)!
