I fell on the ice today.  I take all the precautions.  I wear boots, go slow, we salt our entire neighborhood, but nothing helped me.  I fell on my butt which is good, but I definitely strained a few muscles trying to catch myself. 

So be careful all you winter weather bumpies...it was no fun!

Glad you are okay. This is one thing that scares me about being pregnant during this stupid Iowa winter we are having. Take it easy!

I'm glad you weren't hurt!

I have been lucky so far, but karma will get me soon. This morning I was parked in the parking lot at work and was listening to a morning show on the radio before I had to go in. I was staring at the clock on the panel and out of the corner of my eye noticed someone do a full wipeout on the ice.

I've felt horrible all day about not getting out of my car to help and have been super careful to avoid as many ice patches as possible.

Glad your okay! This happened to me as I was leaving a clients house, went to check on them and they weren't even there! Arg. I was so upset, and to make it worse it seemed like it took forever for the baby to kick!! Hope you have safer walks the rest of the winter!

Okay, I don't have ice here, so I don't know what that feels like, I'm sure it's scary. 

I am feeling about the same. I sort of just live with the pain, ya know? Nothing I can do. And now that I'm not worried, it's easier to manage. I hate that I am wishing the next 12-14 weeks of my life away, but at this point I just want to be done so I can have this surgery and feel better already!!!

Yeah I hear ya but nobody wants to live in pain.  I don't blame you for wanting to get it over with.  Plus then Wesley will be here!  I can't believe we are both moving to third tri...it's flying!

So sorry! I'd call your dr. A girl posted on here a couple weeks ago that she fell on ice and the end of that week or next week delivered her baby at only 25 weeks.... Mama Jan reposted the link yesterday or the day before I think...maybe she still has it.

Oh man, this is why I think I may call out of work tomorrow! There is snow EVERYWHERE right now! Glad  you are ok though!

I hope you are okay!!  I've been trying to be reallly careful walking around.  The ground outside my door at work is always slick and I'm just waiting for my clumsiness to hit me.
