steak fingers and mashed potatoes? UPDATED POST LUNCH

This is the only thing that sounds good for lunch. I have a distinct (lovely) memory of eating this at some point in my life. Am I actually flashing all the way back to school cafeteria lunches or is there somewhere local I can get this???

I think Dairy Queen has steak fingers.

Would chicken fried steak work?  Hoover's is a great place for CFS.

Not sure where to get them, sorry. BUT, if you don't get to eat them today, I'll bet I can find a recipe and make them for you tomorrow. : )

This is no where your neck of the woods, but Cafe 290 in Manor has a kids plate that's two steak fingers and a veggie.  I usually get that and add an extra veggie and it is plenty of food.  Mmmm...now I want SF & potatoes!

I've seen DQ commercials for Steak Fingers, but they don't have mashed potatoes...  I second Hoovers if CFS will work instead... mmmm Hoovers is yummy!

Yeah, dairy queen has them. ?They probably taste just like the school cafeteria ones do! ?As for mashed potatoes, you would probably have to swing by KFC for those!

I have never had steak fingers in my life and don't think I would like them, but your lunch still sounds good!  (Of course, pregnancy has made me like lemon flavored pasteries for some reason, and I hate those normally...)

Thanks a lot, though.  Now I'm gonna have to eat again.

I settled for Boston Market meatloaf and mashed potatoes. Almost what I was wanting and still yummy.

I love steak fingers! FYI, HEB has them (HCF brand), and they're actually pretty good - they taste just like the school cafeteria kind.
