keloid after c-section

Hi ladies- I had a c-section a little over three weeks ago. I noticed on Friday I had a red bump above my incision site. I had my mom and DH look at it last night and they say its about the size of a half dollar. Its a little red but not too bad- it is defintely very uncomfortable. I am prone to Keloids and have them on my shoulders. Does anyone have experience with them after a c-section and what was the treatment? I will be calling OB tomorrow. TIA.

I'm prone to keloids. I've had 3 c-sections (last one was 5 weeks ago). Last 2 scars were a keloid. I expect this one to heal that way too. There's no treatment unfortunately.

My OB does cut out the keloid and redo it each time though.?

I got a large keloid along my incision line after my 1st c-section.  I just had a repeat c-section almost 6 weeks ago and the doctor cut it out and it hasn't grown back yet.  I'm hoping it doesn't.  Otherwise, there is no treatment.
