your take on the name Teegan..

My husband and I are only 5 weeks along but have been talking about names for awhile now.. we are pretty set on boy names but we are having trouble find girl names we like..

What do you girls think of the name Teegan? I dont think its too popular right now and its not that out there but its unique (atleast i think,haha).  Is it a girls name or more of a boys name?

as for middle names with teegan.. what do you girls think?

It's used for both boys and girls.  I've only ever seen it spelled: Teagan, though. 

What about Teagan Joy or Teagan Simone.

I didn't used to care for this name too much, but it's grown on me. My niece's name is Teegan Janae.

I have a little cousin named Teagan, he is really a cute kid.

I don't care for it on a girl though. It seems to boyish. I don't like boy names for girls.

I agree with the previous posters - I have only seen it spelled Teagan.  Personally, it is nms, but I have seen it on a few peoples name polls so it must be growing in popularity.  I have only seen it for girls though, never seen it suggested as a boy name.

I LOVE IT! I LIKE IT SPELLED TEAGAN BETTER, BUT THAT"S ALL YOU!!!!  I DO LOVE IT THOUGH!  I AM IN THE SAME SITUATION WHERE I LIKE A NAME THAT IS COMMONLY USED IN PARTS OF THE US FOR A BOY BUT I LIKE IT FOR A GIRL!

I have only heard it used for boys, but it sounds like a girl mane to me. I love it and I would have named the baby that if it is a girl, but my husband hates it. I would spell it Tegan or Tegen.

I like that name a lot.  It's got a very British sound to it.  I've heard of two girls with that name, but I imagine it could work for a boy or a girl.

My daughter is Teagan Clare. It's an Irish/Welsh girl's name that means "beautiful" or "little poet". I've never heard it used for a boy, although I suppose it could be. I (obviously) love it.
