Ugh...my 1st day alone with 2 kiddos and...

I am sick as a dog. : (

I have been sick since last Thursday and it is still going strong.  I am having muscle spasms in my upper back too...and NOTHING is helping.

 Today was DH's 1st day back at work and the minute he left this morning, I just started bawling.  This has to get better...hopefully.

and, it totally gets so much better!  Adjusting to two children was alot easier than I had thought.  I know you'll have better days ahead=)

no problem=)  I think that part of what helped was that I didn't keep myself and the kidlets at home.  We pretty much hit the malls, met with friends, went for lunch from the time she was a couple of weeks old.  It helped to be out and about doing the things we would normally be doing.  I tried not to be scared of taking two kids out by myself.  I figured I would just dive in head first with it all, rather than keeping myself at home.

I'm so sorry! It will get better/easier, I promise. I have totally been were you are(and will be back there in 6 months, I'm sure!). This board was a life-saver for me. A little sympathy and support go a long way, so be sure to vent as much as you need to. I hope you feel better soon, sweetie.

yep, this is one big problem for me....that and the fact that it is freezing outside doesnt help.  I do fine being out with just one of them, but both...kinda scares me.  I am sure that will get better though...I was terrified to just take DD out by myself when she was born. lol

It gets much better. ? I kept DD on her schedule and fit DS in. ?We also tried to get out every day even if it was only to go the drive thru at Starbucks or story time (although I know today wasn't possible)?

Oh Mon, I'm sorry. It's no joke, huh? But it DOES get better, I promise. Just try to keep Olivia on her schedule, and fit Noah into it. It's so hard in the beginning. I used to go on five mile walks just b/c I couldn't handle them in the house.

I hope you are feeling better! I know your parents and sister are close by- definitely call and ask for help! Call in those favors

I started crying the first time I was alone with my 2 as well-- and it wasn't even a full day. ?It's difficult at first (especially in the winter, I thought), but it eventually gets so much easier. ?

It gets better... surprisingly better. Once you get into a routine things will fall into place. Then after the first year it is a breeze. Mine are only 15 months apart and now that they are 3yrs old and 20 months old they are just too cute together and pretty much on the same routine.
