I've noticed that almost everyone on this site is married and therefore uses the term DH. Although I am planning on getting married soon (prob this year) is there an abbreviation for boyfriend? DB or BF? Anyone else not married and living in sin, lol???

would just be BF, SO, or FI (boyfriend, significant other, fiance)

 It was a joke, hence the lol. I don't see it as "living in sin".

When I think of DB I think of douche bag...which ironically is what i call most of my friends boyfriends...

db makes me think of a database, so I'd stick with FI or SO (significant other)... and with SO noone will care whether its a hubbie or not... in this day and age, more people don't get married... if you're happy and committed, then we're happy for you.

Ditto. My brothers and I will actually abbreviate the word and say DB to mean douche bag when we're talking IRL.
