How many dryer balls do you use?

So I bought 3 and typically used 2 in my dryer...but I was reading something that said you needed to use 4.  Do I need to buy another one?  Does it make that big of a difference?

3.  I don't think you'd need to buy a 4th.

I don't think there's a specific number you need. It just depends on how much laundry you're doing/how big your loads are. We have 4, but we're a family of 4 and typically have large loads.

I use anywhere from 3 to 10.  It just depends on how many loads I am drying and what's in there.  With towels and stuff, I use more just because I have them.
