Hi Gals...I've missed you so!!!

The quick update - I haven't got long.

Maddy is here and was/is jaundiced - not enough to require treatment, but enough to make bf'ing really difficult. We're struggling through that - have been to the LC at St. Joe's and am hoping that will work out.

Labor was REALLY long, but delivery was super fast.

Anyway - gotta get, I'll post the whole birth story later.

Good to hear from you Heather! Syd gave us some trouble with jaundice and breastfeeding too, I know what your going through. Good luck and can't wait to hear more.

congratulations! GL with the breastfeeding- it is really hard and a lot of work, but you'll get the hang of it!

same thing happened with Jacob as well...they hospital also gave him formula right away so I dont think that helped either! Although it may seem easiest to give up now, keep persisting and Im confident Maddy will quickly learn (especially with the help of an lc) there is so much out there to get you the help you need! ....but with that being said, if b/f isnt working, it's not the end of the world either...after all, I was a formula fed baby and I like to think I turned out ok Stick out tongue
