Has anyone started a scrapbook/memory book for the baby yet?

Hello ladies,

I really want to start doing a memory book to pass onto my little one someday. I've been to a ton of stores but just cannot seem to find the "right one". I want something that is more personalized then the ones you can find in Target, Hallmark, Wal-Mart, etc. and I am also wanting one that has room to put some special mementos in. I visualize this book becoming an family heirloom for my future child. If anyone has found a book that they think is extra special and wouldn't mind sharing where they found it, I would really appreciate it. Also for those of you who are doing books when did you start?

I haven't, but you might look on Etsy if you want something a little more unique.  You can post what type of item you're looking for on there (if you don't find something by searching) and artists can bid on it to make it for you.

With #1, I made my own because at the time I couldn't find one that I liked. I made a scrapbook starting with a nice photo album that I liked. I can't remember when I started it but pages I created were:

a page for mom, dad, sister (SD); cravings; pregnancy books I read; my dr; ultrasounds, our top name choices; belly pics; birth story (feel like I am leaving something out!)
