took the first step

in Adoption

my dh and i filled out the first free online application to a local reputable agency. we will be notified if we quality to be accepted to their agency. i guess if they are willing to help us. i hope we have a good few agencies to choose from.

 one step at a time, right?   a new chapter and new journey.

 

 

After 7 years of marriage and 5 unsuccessful IVFs, we have been granted the gift of adopting a baby boy, born 4/21/11.

    Fancy seeing you here. :-) We are dipping our toes into adoption as well. We went to an orientation last weekend sponsored by Catholic Charities and it was really informative and helpful. We haven't made any decisions yet as there's just so much info to soak in and we haven't quite given up on IVF either, but I've been lurking around this board lately.

    Good for you!  Sometimes, taking that first step is the hardest.  I know how much you have struggled (from TTTC) and that you are starting on a new path (we are starting that, too).
