Babies: 9 - 12 Months

Do BabyGap clothes run small, big or true to size?

My DS doesn't wear much BabyGap clothes - but the store near me is having some good sales (PSA) so I thought I'd get him some stuff for both the winter and spring.  How do their clothes run?  I can't keep up with which brands/stores run big, small, etc....

 Thanks!!!

  • In my experience, they run a little big, which is good. You get more wear out of them.

  • for us they run true to size . .
  • For us they are true to size (DD is in 75th percentiles though). However, the packaged onesies and sleepers (with the little bear on them) seem to run big. My DD can still fit into 3-6 mo size in those!
  • In my experience they run bigger than other clothing marked the same age...I tend to use them as she nears the end of that size of clothing.

  • I actually think they run small. My ds is on the shorter side but has a cute round tummy and he barely fits in 6-12 months size.
  • DS just got some super cute outfits for Christmas that are 6-12 months. He just turned 5 months and they are just fit him about right. It looks like they will fit him perfectly at 6 months. I still haven't figured out how they go up to 12 months thought. That boggles my mind...

    And thanks for the PSA!!

  • ds has a long torso and short legs.  he is 9 months old and the 6-12 tops just fit him....not for long though.  the 6-12 pants will fit him for awhile

  • I think ON runs a little big and baby gap is TTS, DS is tall and thin so i get him 12-18 months though he could wear 6-12, but his new babygap onesies sleeves are too short... (which is just because he is tall i think)

  • I think they run a little big.  DD is average-sized (55% weight, 50% height) and I have to roll the 12-18mo pants at the waist so that they don't fall off.

  • In our case, they run a bit big. DD is a bigger baby & she's so comfy in Gap clothes.
  • I think they run pretty true to size, but seem to shrink faster than some others (like Carters don't seem to shrink much at all).
  • They run a little big.  I have long limbed kids and they are longer on them.  Which is good, more wear out of them.
  • a little bit big IMO

Ditto and I LOVE that bear your DD has in your siggy!

  • I find that they run big and small! LOL My son is tall so they run small in that sense but they are big in the middle for him because he is thin. He has a lot of 6-12 month stuff now and he has almost outgrown the length of them.
