Log in to TheKnot, hover over My Knot, and click Account Settings. If you are having issues doing it that way, you can email support@thebump.com and ask them to change your username. Give them a few suggestions just in case your top choice is taken. It may take up to 24 hours for the name to update.

Yes. I did this also and it doesn't work within the app. I think the only way to get it changed is to take the extra few steps and email 📧 them to change it. I just sent an email to: support@thebump.com tonight. We'll see if I get a reply with the name that is saved in my account username section now. TIA for the email for the support team!

Thanks for posting this! I sent an email and am waiting on confirmation. They mentioned it can take 24-48 hours to reflect.

Update: if you updated your username and it doesn't reflect on postings but it shows saved in the username account section, log out and log back it and it should work. That's the advice I got from the support team, and it worked.

I changed my name, even shows correct in my settings, but when I post, it comes back as knottie. So annoying!

Have you tried logging out and logging back in? Sometimes that helps makes the settings change stick after you save the changes

From what I understand it’s from being a member on The Knot. It just carries over.
