I know it's still pretty early for people to find out, but I figured I would get us started.

Introduce yourself!

Due date?

How'd you find out?

Tell us more about yourself (other kids/pets/spouse/job/hobbies, etc)! Whatever you feel like sharing:

I'm Maggie and I'm due on 1/1/26. But both of my other babies were inductions at 41 weeks because they showed no sign of ever wanting to be born, so I fully expect to go past my due date. My babies get comfy in there.

I'll be a third time mom. I have 2 girls (5 and 2), a St. Bernard puppy, and 2 cats. Lots of chaos around here. I'm in the Navy and hubby is a SAHD.

I was expecting my period because I got spotting as usual, but then it got lighter instead of darker and stopped. I tested at 4 days late and got a very faint positive. My cycles are long and fairly irregular due to PCOS. We've been trying for #3 for about a year and this is our first BFP!

I'm feeling excited and nervous about how faint the positive is. Much fainter than when I was this many days past due with my other babies. But it is getting darker.

• Hi I’m Nicole I’m due on 1/04/26! Im 28 and married with two step-kids. This will be my first biological child! Im a special education teacher and love the outdoors and everything involving adventure. (Hiking, skiing, backpacking, and so much more!)

Last cycle I unexpectedly got pregnant but it unfortunately ended up being a chemical pregnancy, so this past cycle my husband and I actually decided to try! I was obsessively taking pregnancy tests as soon as I could and it was positive!

I’m really excited but also nervous as I really hope it doesn’t end up like last cycle.
• Nice to meet you! Thank you for starting the introduction thread!
• Nice to meet you, too!

We're worried about a chemical pregnancy here, too. I keep getting faint positives on home pregnancy tests but the lines are still faint and I tested negative on the doctor's urine test (but then got a positive on an HPT as soon as I got home). After a lot of back and forth with the doctor's office, we decided to do a blood test on Friday if I'm still getting positives by then.
• Hi! I’m a second time mom, my first being 17 months old and my favorite little guy. My predicted due date is 01/09/26 so I found out reallllyyy early yesterday! We have been trying for number 2 for a few months now and this was actually going to be the last month before we took a break due to a busy year next year around predicted due dates. I have two dogs, a husky and an Aussie, and they’re super goofy so it’s never a dull moment here. My husband works really hard to allow me to be a SAHM, and in my small sections of free time I like to garden and bake. ☺️

I’m Shelby! I’m 32 and married to my wonderful husband Kurt. We’ve been trying for 8 months with no luck due to my pcos. We started working with a fertility clinic for lots of testing, and we were getting ready to start the iui process next cycle. I decided the other day to take a test just to be sure before we started the iui process and we got a very faint positive, but the digital was negative. Yesterday, the line was a lot darker and the digital was positive!
We have a 5 month old chocolate lab puppy named Duke who keeps us on our toes right now.
I’m praying this baby sticks and we have a happy healthy baby in January as planned! Blood work is on may 15th to confirm my hcg levels are rising properly so fingers crossed they are!
• Gonna dip my toes even though it's really early....

Introduce yourself! I'm Maria, 41, living in California, but from Canada.

Due date? January 11, but will likely have 39 week induction due to old age.

How'd you find out? We have a history of infertility (see signature, if you're interested). The road to even trying for baby #2 was a long one because of immunological infertility. I also had endometriosis excision for Stage 3 endo in March 2025. I just had my final post op ultrasound this week (Tuesday), and my gyno surgeon gave me the go ahead for a transfer. I started contacting my fertility clinic and reproductive immunologist to get green light & schedule and then on Wednesday had suspicious symptoms which prompted me to get some preganancy test which ended up being positive.

Tell us more about yourself (other kids/pets/spouse/job/hobbies, etc)! Whatever you feel like sharing: we have 1 boy who just turned 2. He's my heart and soul. Been married for 5 years and we have a corgi who is 5 yo.

How are you feeling? Very apprehensive due to a history of losses. My first 2 betas were good. But, previous pregnancies also started with good betas. We were all set on transferring a euploid embryo in July or August, alas, it seems like by body had other things in mind. I'm trying to be hopefully, but it's hard considering the chances of miscarriage at my age. It is what it is...

Introduce yourself!
Hi all! I recently found out that I'm 3 weeks pregnant! I struggled with both prenatal and postpartum depression throughout 2022 and 2023. I was 100% sure I'd be one-and-done not wanting to put myself through that again. My son turned two in February, and my attitude shifted completely. I kept imaging my son as a big brother. In early April, my husband and I decided to try for a second child. My age (40 years old) was a factor in wanting to try as soon as possible, and here we are!

Due date?
Based on my app, my predicted due date is January 14, 2026. I assume I'll be induced a week or so early.

How'd you find out?
Last time, I tried for 7 months to get pregnant. I got pregnant right after I had a hysterosalpingogram. This time, we only tried for a month. I started testing at 10dpo. I've taken pregnancy tests four days in a row and all are positive. I'm hopeful it sticks and we all have healthy pregnancies. I'm going to call this week to set my 8-week appointment with my OBGYN.

Tell us more about yourself (other kids/pets/spouse/job/hobbies, etc)! Whatever you feel like sharing:
I work full-time. My husband is a SAHD. We have one son (2 years old) and a cat. I was 38 years old when I conceived the first time and delivered at age 39. I'm 40 now and will deliver at age 41. I love dancing and am in a hip hop dance troupe that performs next weekend. One of my first questions for my OBGYN will be asking if I can be in the next troupe season performing in mid-November!

How are you feeling?
I feel good. I'm so less anxious this time. I had been feeling a bit light headed over the past two weeks and had been getting headaches. I was kind of thinking that it could be pregnancy symptoms, but it was so early to actually know. I didn't have any morning sickness last time, so I'm hoping this pregnancy is similar.

Great to meet you all!

• @kbmt welcome! Sounds like we were of similar age when we conceived / delivered last. I’ll be 42 if this pregnancy stick when baby arrives on the scene.

Good luck and I hope this works out for both of us. 🤞🏻

• Introduce yourself!
- hi! My name is Katie and I am so beyond excited to be here. It took us about 2 years to start our IVF journey and now 6 months later we are pregnant with a little GIRL! Perk of IVF I guess is that we get to know the sex!

Due date?
january 11, 2026

How'd you find out?
Well. Going through IVF is not a surprise but we did a couple beta HCG blood draws last week and they could not confirm it on Friday, so we had to wait till today!

Tell us more about yourself: My husband and I are 33 and we have a dog named Captain. During our infertility journey I started some hobbies and I'm so happy I did. I now love to read, crochet (especially woobles), and enjoying a yummy mocktail!

How are you feeling?
uuuuhg so nauseous. Apparently I can't have anything milk based. So that's fun...
also tired and cramping but SO WORTH IT!

Excited to take this journey with you all
• Hi I am also a special education teacher and due in January! Can't wait to leave work with my pregnancy a secret and come back in August with a surprise bump!
• Hi! Agnes here, 34 in the midwest. I am a special education teacher. This is my second pregnancy in the last year, my first daughter had Trisomy 13 and didn't make it to term, I lost her in December 2024. We have been trying for 2 cycles naturally and I found out because my sense of smell was crazy sensitive and that is also how I knew I was pregnant last year!

My husband is a therapist, and we have two holland lop rabbits Sugar and Lucky. My hobbies are reading, going on walks and cooking.

I feel fine, mostly anxious due to the previous loss and diagnosis of my daughter who is in heaven. My husband and I are not genetic carriers of T13. My first ultrasound isn't until May 28 I'll be 8 weeks so that seems a lifetime away!
• Introduce yourself!

Hi! I'm Stephanie. I'm in West Virginia, but in the "DC/Baltimore" area. I'm an elementary teacher, and 40 years old (yikes!)

Due date?

January 5, 2026 (my current youngest's birthday!)

How'd you find out?

This was quite the unexpected thing. Without going into details, we'd been pretty good at avoiding pregnancy... I always have been. Something happened though, and here we are. I knew the day I missed my period... I'm so regular. Also, the breast tenderness. I had a negative home pregnancy test on missed day 1, though, so four days later I tried again. BFP. Then an even bigger one three days after that.

Tell us more about yourself (other kids/pets/spouse/job/hobbies, etc)! Whatever you feel like sharing:

My partner and I have been together for a year and a half, but we've been friends since we were teenagers. He and I started dating shortly after my husband and I split up... ultimately divorcing. During all of that crazy time, my oldest daughter (one of 15 year old boy/girl twins) was diagnosed with leukemia. My boyfriend (especially since he has known me, my kids, my home...) quickly jumped in to help me out with single-motherhood. We are so good together, and we are working this thing with maturity and intelligence. We are scared, but figuring it out. We both wanted to consider having a child together, but had kind of put it on the back-burner while we worked through life situations and figured more out about the future.

That's a lot. Otherwise, I have a younger daughter who is 8 (will be 9 on my due-date!) We have a French Bulldog (Chief,) an old lady mean cat (Gemma,) and one guinea piggie (Cookie.)

I knit, read, garden, and love to cook and bake. My boyfriend and I love to go to concerts and travel. I love concerts and follow a few specific artists and groups. It WAS when my kids were with their dad for the weekends or half of the Summer, but I guess soon we'll ALWAYS have a kid with us. Just as I'd gotten used to sharing my three babies all the time.

How are you feeling?

I'm terrified, but overall, very happy about this pregnancy. My boyfriend has no children and had kind of given up on ever being a father. I think he's secretly happier than he's even showing, because I'm being so serious and logical about the life changes. He's already told me he doesn't want to step on my feelings or upset me. I've caught him buying me mother's day presents, looking up pregnancy symptoms, and putting his hands on my belly whenever he gets the chance. I am SO nervous about telling my kids, their dad, my family, though. Having a child "out of wedlock" is not a THING people have done in our family. This child (and I, my other children, my boyfriend, too) will always be loved, that isn't questioned. I am just awfully worried about the judgement and negative talk that will surely happen.

Physically I am EXHAUSTED. Yesterday was the first time I felt the nausea. I've had random dull headaches for the last three weeks, too. My older kids are starting to get curious, I think.

I haven't been pregnant in 9 years, but so many things are coming right back to me!
• I'm Beth. I'm 35 and just got a faint positive at 10 DPO. I had a traumatic pregnancy 13 years ago (my daughter is healthy) and this was the second month we were trying. I decided to join groups early this time around for the added support.

My EDD is 1/15
• Hi, I'm Annie! ☺️
I'm due January 12th with our fourth! We have three girls ages 13, 2, and 10 months. We homeschool our oldest and our youngest two were born at home with just.my husband and I (freebirthing!). Those is to do the same with baby number 4!

We don't do anything preventive, so I test regularly and my cycle just returned last month after baby number 3, so we were somewhat expecting this 😅

We are so excited to share the news with our family and start getting ready for our newest family member! Family of six here we come!!

This is my 4th babe as well! Oldest is 15, she’s also homeschooled :) younger two are boys—age 3 and 1.5.
• Hey all! I’m Ashley, and I’m due January 20th. I’m pretty sure we conceived this babe on my 37th birthday (the day before I ovulated) since we didn’t DTD on ovulation day 😆 so that’s pretty exciting. So I guess that puts me at 3w2d. Super early. But symptoms have already started (which has happened every pregnancy so far and was indication that I needed to get an early detection test lol). I got my first very faint squinter yesterday, but a definite visible line this morning :)

We’re being quiet about this one until we find out gender. We’re so excited. This is my 4th baby, my husbands 3rd bio baby, but he loves and cares for my oldest as if he has known her from the day she was born!

My oldest (girl) is 15, and my 2 littles are boys age 3 and 1 1/2. My first was a very easy vaginal birth, 2nd was a complicating pregnancy that ended in emergency c section due to placental abruption, and 3rd babe was my redemptive vbac (very easy pregnancy and birth). I’m praying for a 2vbac for this babe. I have no doubt that I can make it happen :)

im so excited to be on this journey again! This will be our last so I’m soaking it all in. Congrats mamas!

• Hello everybody!

I'm Meredith, I'm 32 years old, and I am due on January 15!

My husband and I have been trying for a few months and I got our first positive test this past Wednesday. We're very excited!

My husband and I just celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary (can anyone say anniversary baby? 😁) and we have a two year old daughter and a small, furry dog. I currently teach 3-4 year old preschool. My whole family loves to read and I also enjoy watching tv and hand embroidery.

I'm feeling pretty ok, but I was fairly sick with my first, so I'm kind of waiting for all the hormones to hit hard... So far, I'm mostly crampy. It's pretty constant, but not overly intense. Oh, and heartburn! I'm loving my Tums Smoothies right now!!

Hi! I’m Thamarrah! I’m due Jan 2, 2026. This is my first. Im 29. My husband, Leroy, and I are really excited. I couldn’t help but tell my closest friend like a week after I found out (she’s pregnant with her first too and giving birth soon ). I found out because my period was 4 days late (very unlike her), so I bought a test and took it at a coffee shop 😂 I freaked out and facetimed my husband, then took another when I got home.

Besides work and spending time with friends. I spend my days hiking, sewing, exercising, and reading a bunch.

I’m feeling pretty okay right now. Mostly just breast tenderness and exhaustion
• @TJones2013 the breast tenderness and exhaustion ia pretty bad for me too.

Hi all! I’m Ashley, 34 years old, and I’m due January 14 with my first baby.

My husband, Will, and I have been trying since November and I’ve been pretty obsessive about testing every month 😅 so we found out at 12dpo with the first positive test.

My husband and I have been married for 9 years in October, and we’re in the DC/Baltimore area. Right now, I’m a full-time student (about a year into a complete career change) and I’ll likely be a SAHM for at least a year or two. We have a cat that we adore. In my free time, I read, knit and crochet, bake, and sometimes paint a bit.

So far, my main symptoms have been some light cramping. My emotions seem to be all over the place - lots of anxiety in particular.

Overall, though, we’re so excited!
• Hi!! I'm Marina, 40 years old, my husband and I were trying for many years dealing with IVF treatments, ectopic pregnancies and miscarriages. We finally had a positive with ovodonation and we even had a plot twist: we are expecting as twice babies as we were expecting!! it turn out being an identical twins pregnancy. I'm over the moon 😍
• @marcortese wow! Congrats! So happy to see you on this side of infertility.

Also I’m loving all the older moms in this group so far! Unite!

• Introduce yourself!
Hi all! I'm Sarah. I'm 41 and I live in NY. I have an 8 year old son from a previous marriage and have been trying to have a second child with my current husband for a little over a year. We tried for about 8 months on our own without success, and were directed to fertility specialists who pushed us into IVF because of DOR, telling us that IVF was our only chance and even so the odds were exceptionally low (less than 25%). Honestly, they threw around so many numbers, all of them abysmally low, I couldn't keep track. We did one cycle between November and January, which was pretty awful and traumatic and yielded no usable eggs due to mishandling during the retrieval. I also found out that I'm highly sensitive to the hormonal injections, which made it worse. I couldn't bring myself to go back to that clinic, and struggled to even move forward with another clinic, so I had put it all on pause for the last 4 months to allow myself time to heal, work through the trauma, and not fixate on all of it for a bit. I just wanted to do it on our own, as naive and unrealistic as that felt at the time. So I spent the time enjoying my husband and my son, having fun, getting support, and we adopted a dog - all wonderful distractions - while trying to muster up the stamina to go for round two... but low and behold, we conceived on our own without intervention or medication!

Due date?
According to the app, January 16th but pending confirmation with our doctor in two weeks. The positive lines were super strong and dark right away, similar to when I was pregnant with my son and found out at 5-6 weeks but I should be 4 weeks.

How'd you find out?
I had been feeling pretty good overall, in a really good headspace and kept having signs that something was different. We hadn't been tracking closely but were still trying without the pressure of it all. After having so many little signs, and being a couple of days late, I decided to take a test for the first time in ages and it was a super fast, super strong positive - as was the second one - and it was in the morning but not first thing so I felt really confident.

Tell us more about yourself (other kids/pets/spouse/job/hobbies, etc)! Whatever you feel like sharing:
We live in the Hudson Valley and I work for a beautiful historic site managing the programs, and my husband is a teacher in NYC. We have a rescue dog we just adopted 4 months ago, a 2 year old Australian Cattle Dog, who we adore. We love hiking and checking out craft breweries (when not pregnant ha), and are planning some home renovations, which should be... interesting... while we also go through pregnancy. I had a super wonderful BMB from having my son, and we wound up migrating to a private FB group and still keep in touch (though a bit more sporadically).

How are you feeling?
I'm excited and anxious, and honestly somewhat still in disbelief! For starters, my previous husband was a toxic, abusive alcoholic and an absent father, so I've always mourned having that supportive partner in parenting. My current husband is the most wonderful, kind, gentle and supportive man I've ever encountered and I couldn't be more excited to take this journey with him. He's an incredible bonus dad to my son, and he is going to be an amazing father. He has no prior children but has always wanted to have them.
I also totally thought the doctors would want to see me much sooner given I'm over 40 and struggled to get here, but they won't see me before June 4th. Fighting the urge to repeat test on the daily and taking comfort in the symptoms - sore breasts / nipples, exhaustion, some mild constipation, brain fog, and a general sense of queasiness / aversion to all foods at the moment except for fresh berries. Oh and the insomnia and constant need to pee, can't forget those!

BabyFruit Ticker
• @SarahDarah333 welcome! Wow - what a ride. It's so cruel that clinics providing hope to people with infertility can do so much wrong and cause so much trauma. But, hopefully you're on the other side of that now!

• @acleverusername @SarahDarah333 My February 23 group migrated to What's App and we still talk frequently. I even found one of my original members in this group-we're due a day apart with our second babies!

Yes! I’m the other Feb 2023 group member. It’s been so nice to continue chatting with everyone in that group and to see our babies grow into toddlerhood, discovering their own personalities. It’s also been great for when I’m struggling and need tips!

It was such a surprise to see @marmalade0 here, and I’m excited we get to share this full experience again. 😊
• Hey my name is Jessica and I’m 30 years old and this is my first pregnancy. My estimated due date is January 15 but I’ll hopefully find out more on June 9th at my first appointment.

My husband and I have been trying for 10 months now to get pregnant so I’ve been testing pretty regularly, I was not ovulating constantly due to unbalanced hormones but then started working with a naturopathic doctor to get that worked out and got pregnant two months after starting to take what they recommended.

We have a sassy cat named Persephone and I’m actually a business owner/ partner of a tree company that my husband also works at, we also recently planted our own little orchard of 6 baby trees at our first home. I’m currently kept busy helping to run the company but I’m so excited to take some time off for my little one.

I don’t have too many symptoms yet, just some mild cramping and a little breast tenderness from time to time in one boob haha. I am nervous and can’t wait for my first appointment to hear baby’s heartbeat.
• Hi everyone! My name is Brooke and I am so happy to be here!😊 I’m 26 and my husband is 28. We’ve been married for 4 years now but we have been together since we were 14 and 16❤️ Our predicted due date is January 16, 2026, so we are just over 5 weeks. I took a home test on Friday, May 10 after I was a couple of days late. BFP!!! We have been TTC since October 2023, so I fully expected the test to be negative that morning. I really only took the test because I was supposed to start birth control with the start of my next cycle and wanted to make sure I picked it up from the pharmacy before the weekend. Something in my gut told me I might not need it though! We started our initial fertility workup with my OBGYN earlier this year with some basic labs, and she then referred us to a reproductive/fertility clinic despite my labs being normal. My husband had a semen analysis in the meantime, which was okay except his morphology was 2% and they said they would like it to be 5% or greater. Our first appointment with this clinic was at the end of March thanks to a call off the waitlist🙌🏻 We were otherwise scheduled for our first appointment at the end of June. The clinic started with an US and then informed me that I had a small fibroid. The reading physician was confident it was a submucosal fibroid without the need for additional imaging and recommended I have an HSG to ensure tubal patency and then be scheduled for surgery to remove the fibroid hysteroscopically. I had the HSG completed in mid April and was told there was mild resistance at the beginning but everything seemed to flush fine after and looked as expected. Surgery was scheduled for June and I was told to start an oral contraceptive at the start of my next cycle to ensure my uterine lining remained thin for a successful surgery. I contacted the clinic last Monday to share that we had a positive test, so they immediately ordered an HCG and progesterone. Both were normal for pregnancy!!! They had me repeat the HCG on Wednesday, May 14 and it had rose just over 1,000. They’ve scheduled an US just after week 6 on May 27, which seems like an eternity when I know it’s not. My husband and I are cautiously excited as we had been told the submucosal fibroid increases our risk of miscarriage if we would happen to get pregnant. We are just so grateful for the opportunity to love this baby as long as the good Lord allows and are praying for a successful pregnancy!

My husband and I both work full time but I actually just decided in mid April to step down from my management role due to the stress and accepted a new position. Since we still hadn’t conceived and had surgery scheduled, we figured it would be at least this fall before we would be discussing pregnancy again so we agreed the timing was right🤣 I thought we had it all planned out but I guess this is proof that the Lords plans are always greater than our own❤️ I’ll unfortunately no longer have a full 12 weeks of paid maternity leave since my PTO will reset with the start of my new role next month and my short term disability won’t take effect until September, so this pregnancy will be considered a preexisting condition unfortunately. It’s a disappointment financially but I know we’ll be okay!

In our free time we love to spend time with our family and friends, walk our 5lb Maltese, ride sxs, boat, and travel!

I’ve been feeling just fine except for breast tenderness! I had one moment of nausea last weekend after feeding our dog that resulted in me running to the bathroom and dry heaving but no nausea otherwise!🤞🏼My husband and I have been joking that my sense of smell is heightened because I smell things lately that he cannot🤣 I hope this babe continues to be kind to me❤️

• Hi. I’m Jessica. Found out a couple weeks ago but not great at sharing. First time pregnant, due early January. I’m 35, my parter is 39 and my bonus son is 10. Morning sickness started in earnest today. But otherwise exhaustion has been my companion.

We’ve been trying since October. My period can be irregular due to a septa uterus and basically two uterine linings. So I tested when I was like two days late thinking taking the test will remove the unknown and I’d get my period. Only two lines showed up. Happily.

We just bought a house in the fall so when not working we’re making it ours.

Hey all, I’m Lindsey and I’m 38 years old as a FTM. This is my first time ever being pregnant and let me tell you it was a shock after thinking I couldn’t conceive for the past 15-20 years. I’m with a very loving and supportive man who is thrilled, he is a FTD and while we both are a bit clueless on what’s to come, he’s down for the ride! I’m really struggling with nausea but no emesis so grateful for that. Naps have become a favorite past time. All my friends are childfree by choice or have kids in their teens now so I wish I had more people to talk to about my experience. Happy to make friends if able!

Oh and I’m 6 weeks along.
• knottieaab7c38c50c50a83 welcome! I was a FTM with my last at a ripe age of 39.5 and definitely benefited from a community of second and third+ time moms so I hope we are that for you.

• Hi there! I’m Leah and 7 weeks today with my 2nd. Due date is January 6th. So much stomach discomfort the past few days (especially if I’m not eating consistently) with nausea on and off. So hard to find something with protein that actually sounds good to eat like every 2 hours though! Definitely having aversions but not really any cravings yet.

We’re very excited as we’d been trying for #2 for about 6 months. And both of my SILs are pregnant ! (one due this month) so it’ll be fun to have cousins close in age. I didn’t have a group like this with my first, only an anonymous questions board so I’m looking forward to the journey with other mamas in the same boat!

I’m Lauren and a first time mom! I’m due 1/11/26. I found out on the anniversary of our engagement! I previously had a loss in February and am feeling hopeful and grateful. Symptoms are like extreme fatigue but luckily only mild nausea! But the breast tenderness has been intense and my boobs have already grown a very noticeable amount. They feel heavy.

Things about me I love to knit and crochet. I recently started to sew. I’m still obsessed with animal crossing. I love to swim laps so I’m hoping my energy picks back up.
• Introduce yourself!
Hi, my name is Xandi and I am 34. I am a ftm. I live in so cal.
Due date?
January 7 ( was Dec 24)
How'd you find out?
Found out because of symptoms really early on. I was in the December group however after my 8 week doc visit we found out I was 6 weeks lol. Got to see its heartbeat and all.
Tell us more about yourself (other kids/pets/spouse/job/hobbies, etc)! Whatever you feel like sharing:
I have two pets a cat and dog both small and loving. I work from home. My partners name is Brandon and he is very excited as well. I am big into arts and video games and I teach painting classes for fun.
How are you feeling?
it is safe to say first trimester is kicking my butt that along with my doc lol. I am looking forward to making it into the second trimester… only four more weeks left!! I just had to move and I do not recommend that stress during pregnancy!!!!
• Introduce yourself! Hey everyone! I’m Jess, 35, mom to an amazing 2yo boy

Due date? Haven’t had an appointment yet to confirm, but roughly EDD as 1/26/26.

How'd you find out/How are you feeling? This little nugget is kicking my behind! I have really been feeling a lot more symptoms a lot more quickly than I recall last time, leading me to test right around my anticipated cycle in ~wk3. I know it’s all likely bloat, but I feel huge already at ~5wks and feel like I’m fighting my wardrobe already. I’ve also been dealing with a lot of nausea and some vomiting from morning sickness - tons of lightheadedness. Trying to make sure I’m drinking enough water and eating something every few hours if I can. I was lucky to be a part of a really active April 2023 group, but I wasn’t really able to keep up with it postpartum and then didn’t know how to reconnect later. I’m hoping to do a better job of keeping in touch this time around, while juggling all the many other things in our busy life with bonus kids, extended family, and as many camping adventures as we can possibly manage.

Hiiii my name is Melanie! I’m 30 years old and 7 weeks, due Jan 15. My husband and I have been together for several years, married for a few. We weren’t trying but weren’t exactly being careful, hence my username (edit: I changed my username but it isn’t showing up here, it’s supposed to be in_denial) 😅

We found out on a whim, I happened to test around 4 weeks when I thought my period was bound to start any day, and was faced with a very bold pregnant line lol

We are excited but feeling nervous since this is our first and also we are not fans of the state of the world/political climate in the US right now 🙃

Lots of extra exhaustion, tenderness, and I’ve been trying to avoid morning sickness by staying fed (got a huge box of crackers next to the bed lol)

Since we weren’t exactly trying, I wasn’t keeping track of my period, so I couldn’t calculate how far along I was. Luckily that meant I got to have an early ultrasound. Super cool to see baby’s heart fluttering on the screen!

Wishing safe, easy, and healthy pregnancies for everyone here! 💕
