Membrane sweep successful?

Anyone here shortly before due date (I’m 39+5) got one membrane sweep only and went into labor? I’m 1-2 cm dilated as of today, 50% effaced as of 5 days ago (forgot to ask today) and lost my mucus plug 3 days ago. Had prodromal labor twice lasting 9-12 hours each in the past 1.5 weeks. Got my first and only sweep today. First pregnancy was induced at 40+4, this induction is scheduled for 40+5. Really hoping she comes before induction date!!

I’ve never had a membrane sweep but I’m looking into it as a more natural way of inducing this time around. I read a ton of studies and it’s really effective at making us release prostaglandin which triggers effective contractions Best of luck and hopefully a speedy delivery!

I had a membrane sweep with my 2nd. Super effective! She was born the next night. I was already 4 cm dilated, 80% effaced at 39+5 when I had it done with her. Just had one done yesterday with my 3rd. I'm 4 cm dilated, 50% effaced at 38+2. Just waiting it out now. Hoping things progress quickly this time too!
