Bright red blood at 6 weeks

Hi everyone! I woke up the other morning with bright red blood that somewhat soaked the crotch area of my underwear. This really freaked me out and I called my doctor’s office who said about 40% or women can have bleeding when in the first trimester. The bleeding stopped shortly after. I haven’t had any cramping and now it’s day 2 with just some brown spotting, somewhat like what you have at the end of a period. I went in and had my hcg level measured and it was around 750. I’m going to get another one done in 2 days. This is my first pregnancy so I’m very worried and anxious. Has anyone had something similar to this? Thank you for any help!!
