Fluid around heart 😔

Hi March moms, I had my 28 week appointment today, glucose test and sonogram. My baby is growing and he’s 3lbs. My OB said he’s healthy and everything is normal but one small issue. He has 4cm of fluid around his heart and normal is only 2cm, so he’s a little over. 🥺 She told me to please not Google this and that my baby is healthy, but she does want to send me to a specialist to get another scan done in a few days or next week. Any other moms going through this right now? Please don’t scare me. I’m already extremely nervous. 😥 I don’t want any issues with my pregnancy. 😔 I just want to know if there’s anyone else out there and what they are doing about it. 🙏🏽

i googled on your behalf sis and i read a few studies. it seems like baby should be fine, but upon birth the doctors will want to assess and make sure baby’s heart and lungs are good. extra assessment can be scary from now and onwards but your doctor seems like she knows what she’s doing try not to worry and trust in your doctors! they want to keep you and baby safe so extra monitoring is only good
