Multiple blood testing

Hey, I had my first blood test at 5w1d , they said that my HCG levels are within range. But they want me to come back in on Tuesday at 5w5d for another test. Then my first ultrasound is Nov 28 at 6w6d. Is it normal to give 2 blood samples before the initial appointment ?

Depends on your history and your office. It's not abnormal to do confirmation blood work to make sure it's not a chemical
