  • Ultrasound went MAGICALLY! Apparently i was too gassy to do a traditional ultrasound lol so we had to do it trans-vaginally. We saw our baby and heard a strong heart beat!
  • Ultrasound at 9w 4d went really well! It was done abdominally and we got to see baby kick which was so cool! Heartbeat was 150 bpm on the ultrasound but she couldn’t find it later in the appointment on the doppler.
  • @caitcc95 it might be slightly early to find on doppler
  • Our first ultrasound this week was amazing! I couldn’t believe how much it already looks like a little baby. We even saw it jump around!
  • I actually had mine at 6w4d because of previous miscarriage they wanted to verify viability. It was good. Tiny bean. Heart beat. Blobby.
  • Had our first ultrasound this week & everything looks great! I was so nervous going into it, but was so relieved when we saw the strong little heart beat (:
  • Had mine on Friday - was relieved everything is healthy! So fun to see the little hands and feet paddling
  • My first ultrasound was at 7wks5days and it was amazing! We couldn’t see it transvaginally because of my fibroids, but we were able to see our little boopiebear via the abdominal ultrasound and their heartbeat was 147bpm. I cried, but not as much as I expected. I think I’m still in shock, lol!
  • soulfulexplorer I saw mine at the end of week 7 and I unexpected cried like a baby when we heard the heart beat!! My husband had tears as well!
  • I had two ultrasounds, one at 6 weeks and another at 8. I think I'm high risk but no one has said anything about it, other than sending me for testing and two ultrasounds, 2 weeks apart.
Anyway, the 6 week one looked good and everything looked like it should, and the 8 week one had a nice strong heartbeat, which made my anxiety ease up a *little* bit.
  • Had my appointment today at 9+6. Everything looks great! 163 bpm, and the tech was super sweet and switched to 3d. She wasn't supposed to so she couldn't print it, but she let me take a picture since my husband couldn't be with.
  • I also had my appointment today at 10 weeks. Baby was moving a ton.  Dr. Is making my due date 4/22
  • @jtayl962 So did they put you exactly at 10 weeks? That puts us only a day apart but 4 days apart for due date. It's weird how different every provider is!
  • @leamarai I think the ultrasound screen said 10 weeks and 2 days. I am not entirely sure if I measured 29 or 30 because my period would come between the 17th and 20th
  • @jtayl962 Oh, gotcha! I have PCOS so I had no idea what to expect today. Honestly I think baby is measuring big, because the date 9+6 puts me at is in the two week period I know we couldn't have conceived.
  • I was vastly disappointed.
I am 38 and having my 3rd child 16 years later. This ultrasound was not at all how it used to be.
I was sent to the hospital to have the ultrasound with a tech that wouldn't tell you anything.
I got no physical photos, but they were uploaded to the my health chart. She said I could take them to Walmart and print.
It was just not a very welcoming experience, but grateful to see baby.
  • @aralysd85 this is my third pregnancy just 4 years later and the ultrasounds aren’t the same! Disappointed in the quality of image and it’s so clinical and not at all an “experience”
  • I was so scared for mine! Second baby, found out at 8 weeks after I got depo a month prior in august (meaning it didn't show up on tests before I got it, AND I went on my bachelorette later in August already 4 weeks 😅 second cycle in July after I stopped nursing our daughter at 20 months back in May 😂 at 10 weeks 3 days on 10/2, baby was kicking and moving around with a heart rate of 170 💕 tiny bean
  • I had an ultrasound Monday and she’s definitely her father’s daughter! Moving around like crazy! We opted for all the testing so we get a few extra ultrasounds :) I think my doctors office may be different bc they emphasize a collaboration between OBs Midwives and doulas. So it’s very warm and emotionally supportive.
  • 11w 5d NT ultrasound. Babykins is growing and looking good. No risky signs. It was so nice to see them kick about. Doing some bonus bloodwork because of advanced maternal age (I’ll be 36 in feb) and will get sex from that. This will help our autistic 7.5 yr old especially be able to plan and think about the baby more clearly.

My husband and I did IVF and I know exactly when my due date is supposed to be. April 27th, 2024. On Oct 4th, when I was 10 weeks 4 days, we had our first ultrasound at the OB (had previously been having ultrasounds at the IVF clinic) and my ultrasound tech said I was measuring 11 weeks. So she changed my due date to April 24, 2024. I didn’t know if anyone else had experienced this with their OB or had IVF and had this happen? Baby is doing fine and is kicking around like crazy! So excited for him or her to come! And so happy for all of you as well!

And very happy to be here!
  • Had my second ultrasound today to look at fluids and head growth. Baby is growing how it should be it looks like it's measuring a couple days ahead. Heart rate was at 153 today. Couldn't get the NIP done today. My veins didn't want to cooperate.
  • I had my ultrasound last Monday, 10/9. It was magical to see my baby! It was so funny cause you could see their lil arms and legs and then as our tech went to take pictures, my lil one curled up! I wonder if they'll be as shy for the rest of my ultrasounds 😂 I had to have chromosomal testing done so I've found out my baby's gender! A little girl! We're so excited! Everything else looks fine. I was measuring a little smaller so I went in thinking I was 13 weeks and they said I was 12. I didn't get to hear the heartbeat and they didn't tell me a due date. I think maybe my fiancee and I were too quiet from shock and didn't press enough for answers but regardless we're feeling very grateful and happy to have a healthy baby! I hope all the other April mom's are doing well!
  • Had my level 2 ultrasound (nuchal) this morning! Baby was super active and she looks good
  • Had my 20 week anatomy on Friday. Baby is almost 1 pound and is developing really well. Confirmed it is definitely a boy. I was afraid the genetic testing was wrong but either way still be happy
