Any thoughts about this cycle? I'm hoping this is the cycle for a bfp. My youngest is turning two this week. And it's hard watching the potential age gap get larger and larger.

Rant/Rave? Feeling lonely in the TTC world. Friend wise it's sort of a closed subject. And this board has been painfully slow and quiet. Also since I already have kids, I feel like I really can't complain, even though internally I'm really struggling.

@kbru88 I’m trying for a first child right now, but I think I get what you’re feeling. My version of this is watching all of my niblings get older (my siblings had children at basically the same time) and worrying my kids will miss out on that close cousin bond due to the growing age gap. 

It’s hard to feel like you’re falling behind, or that time is slipping away. No matter if it’s your first child or your sixth, when they’re planned for it’s so hard to have to adjust those plans month after month after month.

I tell myself that kids are resilient and have their way of fitting into a family perfectly, whenever they come along 💛 FX you see that BFP soon!!

Any thoughts about this cycle? With such an irregular cycle I've never really known when I was in the TWW or WTO time, so it feels odd being able to pin point it more clearly this time since I've been monitoring at a clinic

Any questions? TMI Wondering if anyone else has also had to use progesterone pills inserting vaginally. I need to know if there's a trick as I don't have an applicator and my body heat starts to melt it almost immediately leaving a mess on my hands

Rant/Rave? Work finally approved hybrid schedules to start this week so I'm excited to have 2 WFH days 🥳

GTKY: favorite family fall activity? There's a petting zoo that does a candy hunt for Halloween and we love taking our son! They have chickens (his fave) and a pumpkin patch so we always have a great time picking them out



@kbru88 I get it. With all the girlfriends I've got, very few have been open with their sharing how TTC has been for them so I don't really feel like there's anyone I can talk to who understands

Any thoughts about this cycle? This will be our second natural (non-medicated) IUI attempt. I am really struggling right now, and really hoping this board will bring me some peace in the form of a community.

Any questions? How did you ladies cope with the pain/ struggle? I am having a very hard time. I do see a therapist and my husband is so supportive but internally I am really having a difficult time.

Rant/Rave? I truly think my last IUI attempt was a bit messed up. Based on bloodwork, they had my O date almost 5 days earlier than it was in previous months (and I have been like clockwork). I think because my last bloodtest was on a weekend and as they had no one on call and I needed to see an emergency doctor on a Sunday, they reacted too quick, my IUI was less than 24 hours after a last-minute trigger, and he had not ejaculated in 5 days (as previously they had asked us to BD on the Sunday, which ended up being trigger day and too close to the IUI). Since it was so early, while I know I ovulated (and AF came promptly at 13 DPO as it has been since I started tracking in January) I think the follicle likely wasn't big enough. I am speaking to my doctor about it this week and am pushing for bloodwork and ultrasounds daily so we can be ultra sure this time. I am grateful that my fertility benefits allow for this.

@kbru88 I see you and hear you.  Also TFAS, also already have kids and still struggling, also feeling like this isn’t how I wanted TTC to go this round, wanting to know why, wanting to know what I need to do.  I'm sorry you’re struggling too and just wanted to validate that it’s ok to struggle right now whatever your story is.

@kbru88 I was worried about an age gap too, especially since my first two are so close in age. But honestly now I’m appreciating that there will be a bigger gap since it means I’ll only have one kiddo completely dependent on me for everything. And remember, being close in age doesn’t mean they’re guaranteed to get along any better than if there is an age gap.

Any thoughts about this cycle? I think timing was good, but my chart is all wonky so idk.

Rant/Rave? I’m about to go on a trip, so that should help keep my mind off the rest of the TWW

GTKY: favorite family fall activity? Going to an apple orchard. We don’t usually pick apples since it’s super expensive (we do buy some pre-picked ones), but the orchard we go to has lots of fun activities for the kids
