  • EDD/Weeks + days: 19 weeks!!!!

Baby is the size of a(n): mango

Team Green/Team Blue/Team Pink: 💚 surprise to the very end!!

Upcoming appointments: my next appointment will be the 20 week anatomy scan, in about a week and a half. Super excited and glad to be almost halfway through!

How are you feeling? Ugh. Though many moms to be claim to be coming back to themselves, that has not been my experience.
Combined with newly developed acid reflux, I am at the toilet bowl to vomit several times a day even with medication! Every day is super unpredictable, and I'm super super tired (thanks antihistamine drugs). My complexion is so bad because all the blood vessels in my face pop when I vomit and these days the last thing I want to do is apply concealer.
My stomach has hardened up and is very picky about sleeping positions.
I will say that even though a lot of it comes back up, I am able to down more foods, and don't get as repulsed as I have been.
I also can't consume too much, my stomach feels very very tiny and gets full really fast. Must be getting squished.
But I hope I will reap my rewards at the anatomy scan!

    Raves/Rants:
I've started sharing my pregnancy news with siblings, and have gotten such mixed reactions. While many were supportive or even excited, some were downright bored by the news which was very disappointing. It's our first!

Questions:  I've been working out 4-5 times a week, but obviously wiped. My sisters who have gone through pregnancies told me that my working out may be weakening my body, making me vomit more and feel tired. They didn't work out at all during pregnancy (work out includes hiking or even walking outside more than fifteen minutes)
I thought I was doing the right thing by continuing to stay in shape, but I wonder if I'm falling apart because of it.
Anybody have a similar experience or guidance?

@chelleylin The advice I received about exercise was totally different. My OB told me to maintain my activity level (2× 45 minutes dog walks + walking to work) and add pregnancy yoga/gymnastics/pilates. But this is definitely something to ask your doctor, as every pregnancy is different!

    EDD/Weeks + days: Dec 21 / 16w5d

Baby is the size of a(n): Newborn hat. Finally an object that isn't round :D

    Team Green/Team Blue/Team Pink: Pink

Upcoming appointments: I just had a quick check up today. After feeling movement for 2 weeks I was feeling basically nothing the last week or so. US showed a healthy but sleeping baby. The OB suggested maybe my last two crazy active fetuses (who are now crazy active kids) may have been the anomaly and this is simply a calm child. I really hope she's right! :D Plus she said baby movement is reduced at the beginning of the second trimester because baby is using all of its energy growing. Long story short, I'm feeling better after the appointment.

How are you feeling? Still feeling good and barely pregnant, although I'm feeling extra sensitive to this heat wave. My bump has popped, though, and strangers now know I'm pregnant.

Raves/Rants: Choosing baby names with another person is a true test of mental strength - argh :D:D I'm also trying to nail down a pregnancy yoga class, postpartum midwife and registration appointment at the hospital this week - the list is never-ending.

Baby is the size of a(n): artichoke!

Team Green/Team Blue/Team Pink: we will find out next week. A friend of mine said it best hoping for a girl but preparing for a boy haha!

Upcoming appointments: 20 week anatomy scan 😁

How are you feeling? I’m feeling pretty good, I’ve been feeling tired around the afternoon again. But my appetite has been in full swing!

Raves/Rants: sometimes I think I feel baby and then sometimes I don’t. I will get anxious about it and then I feel a little jolt lol

Questions: anybody else experience random   Rashes? I had one on my hand and then it went away and now I have one under my arm just above my armpit. I thought it was the coco butter I was using at first now I think it’s hormonal

  • EDD/Weeks + days: Dec 16, 17w +3d

Baby is the size of a(n): she weights the same as a hockey puck! ( Hubby now refers to her as our little slap shot)

    Team Green/Team Blue/Team Pink: Girl!

Upcoming appointments: check-up July 20th, anatomy scan July 26th

How are you feeling? Pretty good although I still don't have much of an appetite, so I'm afraid I'm not eating enough. I have notice a stretching or tearing feeling in my abdomen when I move around, I'm hoping that's normal, lol. I mean our bodies are literally transforming so I can't image it's gonna feel amazing. But I will check with the doctor next week I suppose.

Raves/Rants: The ultrasound clinic was able to move my scan from Aug 4th to July 26th. Which I am so very greatful for. My husband and I are have a summer shutdown of our company so our staff ( including us) can do something fun with family. Aug 4 was right in the middle of the time off, so now we can plan to take a trip!!

Questions: no questions. I just feel for you ladies with the rashes, it's has to be awful to deal with that on top of all the other uncomfortable things we are going through! ❤️

    Weeks: 16 + 6

    Baby size: taco!

    Team: unknown

Upcoming appointments: 18 week cervical length scan next Friday

How are you feeling: What was diagnosed as strep was actually COVID 🙄. I've been so wiped. Additionally, I got food poisoning last week. I've been absolutely miserable. We are on vacation and I have felt so guilty because I've been in bed missing out on having fun with my son. Today was the first day I felt decent. I spent most of the day outside with him and that was so needed.

Rants: My 16 wk cervical length scan went well. Holding long and strong! But I had a weird experience with the ultrasound tech. She wasn't going to show me the baby. Like, was just going to be in and out. I had to ask. You already up there! Show me the baby!!!

@Madimom95: I have a rash right now too. Thankfully it is only on one arm. I've been treating it the way I treat my kiddos eczema but I'm not sure if that's what it is or if it's pregnancy related. I don't typically struggle with eczema 🤷.

@chelleylin I'm so sorry you are feeling so bad. It really sucks the fun out of pregnancy when you are ill constantly. As for exercise, I've been told it's usually good to maintain what you've been doing with modifications. I find I get winded a lot more, so I've stepped back a little bit. Maybe try a little less and see if that helps?

Upcoming appointments: Monday for my anatomy scan!

How are you feeling? Super irritated with this whole rash situation.  My doctor moved my appointment up to today and they basically still have no idea what it is, so they're sending me to a specialist.  The antibiotic and steroid cream have been working though, so the viral suggestions she had don't make any damn sense, but hopefully the specialist will have answers...

Raves/Rants: The only good thing about this rash is getting to hear baby's heartbeat and doctor said, "she sounds happy."  Can't wait to see her on Monday!

Questions: How long should we expect the anatomy scan appointment to be? I know they said the ultrasound itself would be about an hour, but then the doctor has to go over everything.

@chelleylin My very first question to my doctor was asking her if I was allowed to keep doing Crossfit and she said that I was good to keep doing any activity I did as long as my body was okay with it.  I think you should be fine to keep working out if that's something you did regularly before getting pregnant.

@madimom95 Sorry you're part of the rash club too!

@clt2pwm11 Covid and food poisoning?! Ouch...feel better soon!

    How are you feeling? Tired.

Raves/Rants: I’m in my last week of nursing school exit exam and studying is kicking my butt right now. I just want to relax and enjoy the rest of my pregnancy. My kids are on summer break and when I get home from school I bombarded. I just need a BREAK!
