Ahhh I can’t believe my name is already that close to the top of the list!

How long were you active on TTGP and when (minimum of 3 months)? June 2019-December 2022

How far along are you? 27 weeks

Which birth month board/due date? 8/30, August BMB though we’ve migrated to fb now

Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? Pregnancy is going great! I passed my glucose test this week for which I’m grateful because I’m not sure I could’ve given up eating ice cream whenever I craved it. I’ve started with a new OB practice and it’s going okay so far. Still missing my old OB and angry at the circumstances but there’s nothing I can do about it. Otherwise things are good! We’re painting DD’s new bedroom this weekend and then getting started on the nursery. Can’t believe I’m less than a week from the 3rd trimester already! Still lurking regularly hoping for more graduates soon!

*How far along are you? 13 weeks tomorrow - can't believe it's almost the second trimester already.

*Which birth month board/due date? December 9

*Team Pink/Blue/Green? Team pink! We found out last week.

*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. We've had names picked out for a long time, but my husband wants to keep is a secret for now, so I'll just share initials: NEM

*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? We finally just shared the news with our families last weekend and have been sharing with friends throughout the week.  Genetic testing all came back low risk and we're so excited to know it's a little girl. Wishing everyone the best here on the TTGP board and hoping to see you in here as soon as possible!

How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. Still no…lol kinda panicking at this point.

Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? I can’t believe this is my second to last update here. Baby will likely arrive at the end of this month, rather than the beginning of July. VBACs are still suspended at my hospital, as far as I know, so I’m just trying to mentally prepare for another c-section. But oh man, I’m so ready to have our boy here! We’ve been working on the nursery like crazy this weekend. It was a little traumatic at first, which is why we put it off for so long, but I’m finally starting to enjoy it. 

I can’t wait to update again with his arrival! 💙

*Which birth month board/due date? Sept 2023, mid Sept - i treat due dates loosely, lol

*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. We finally pulled up our 2019 list, still good on the boy name... but MH wasn't jazzed about the list of girl names. He vetoed my current #1. we need to revisit this topic. i like traditional names, no offbeat spelling, and easily has a nickname. 

*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? nope. next appt is 6.16 and glucose test, my OB is letting me stretch another 4 weeks after that b/c everything has been lovely and boring, and then i'll start biweekly appts. at some point in the near future we need to get all of the baby things from the attic. i started a loose list of things to buy - diapers and butt cream, new pump parts... it feels... too easy.

*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? NIPT results came back Tuesday low risk! Finally told our parents yesterday. Feeling way more real I'm feeling sporadic flips I think. 

Also we sold our townhome and bought a single family home! Closing is July 10th for both. There's drama on the house we are buying. We got a credit from the sellers cuz they ducked up their bathroom pretty bad so we are hiring a contractor to do a whole remodel. Other than that it's on .25acre of land. And 3 bedrooms 🥰 so very excited. But I've been Mia for that reason in the December board (sorry @dmcg17). Life has been chaotic. Next appointment is at 16w 7/5 and anatomy scan on 7/26. Trying to decide if we should do a sprinkle or not. Idk.

*How far along are you? 8 ish weeks

*Which birth month board/due date? Feb 2024

*Team Pink/Blue/Green? We should find out in about two weeks! I’ll let you all know once we have it on next months post. 

*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. My seven year old declared we are naming the baby “Charlie”- my husband and I were like … actually, I don’t hate it 🤷‍♀️ so we are leaning towards Charles Valentine for a boy, Charlotte Valerie for a girl. The “Val” are in honor of my recently late mother in law - her birthday was Valentine’s Day, her name was Valerie. 

*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? PGAL brain has got me like 🫣🥴 we have another US tomorrow and I’m terrified there won’t be anything there. I won’t believe this is my take home baby until I take them… home…
