How you found out: We have been trying so I tested
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) Well we lost my son last year due to Acrania, so we got a little corgi puppy around that time to ease the pain a little. I was 20 weeks at the time. We have actually struggled with infertility for 6 years so I'm shocked I got pregnant this fast after we started trying.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? I can smell EVERYTHING and my boobs are a little tender. I'm very nervous but excited. I'm not telling my husband I'm pregnant until father's day- def a hard secret to keep
How you found out: We were trying but also getting ready to start IVF - I was fully prepared for another negative and to order all my meds, but there was the faintest line - I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I had a miscarriage in November at 9 weeks, so trying to stay really hopeful. I work in recruitment and love my job. My fiancé and I are getting married in Italy in Sept 2024. We pushed back to September to try to have a baby before (as I’m 37 and he’s 36).
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? Feel totally normal - just trying to eat super healthy and foods that are know to increase progesterone
How you found out: We had been trying, so I took a test (ok ok, a few tests!)
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): My partner and I have been married almost 2 years. I work in policy, and love my job. I love to read, crochet (alllll the baby things are on my list now!), and swim. No pets, but I’m a huge dog person, so that will be in our future, I think!
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? Honestly I am still in shock. We were so fortunate to have it happen so quickly for us, but I had prepared myself for it to take longer. I definitely feel more emotional the last week or so (though, Pisces here, I’m a crier anyway!) my boobs are killing me, and I have had some intermittent cramping. I still am getting nervous over every little twinge, but trying to be hopeful and enjoy this part as much as I can. Overall, just so excited and hopeful, this is something I have wanted for a long time.
How you found out: my son came home from school and announced one of the kids threw up in his classroom A LOT!!! I was like great. And I’m nauseous 🥴 strep throat had gone around the week before so I was like that’s JUST what we need. We’ve been trying (I was taking femara) but our timing wasn’t amazing and we’ve had a lot going on so I didn’t realize the date. After a day no one in my house was puking but me, so figured I’d better POAS since my period was due the day before- positive!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) we have two kids, ages 6 and 2. We have a whole menagerie - an elderly corgi, four mollies which turned into twenty mollies when one of the promised “males” was … not…, and FIVE cats. We used to have four, which I thought was at least one too many (TW death) but my MIL passed very suddenly a few months ago and we inherited her cat. I told my husband he found the worst loophole ever to my “no more cats!” Stance. (End TW) I used to be a financial advisor, but I left my career to stay home for a bit because my daughter has a rare disease and daycare wasn’t viable for her anymore. My husband is a robotics engineer. We are in the process of buying a house built in 1780, so my guess is “home renovations” will be on my list of hobbies soon 😂😬
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? I get HG with my pregnancies so I’m already throwing up. 🙃🤢 other than that, okay ish.
How you found out: Got a negative at 9dpo, took another at 11dpo not expecting anything and got a VFL! I've been testing the progression for the past five days and got a BFP! Going to have my doctor confirm it next week.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) This will be our first baby. I'm currently working toward taking my board exam for wellness coaching. I love to garden, do yoga, and I have a regular meditation practice. My hubs travels a lot for work, so I'll be doing parts of this pregnancy without him. We have a cat named Chi who brings a lot of joy into our house.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? Emotionally I am so excited and grateful and I want to tell EVERYONE but also nervous as we had a loss only two months ago. Physically my symptoms are much milder this time, some light cramping an lower abdomen achiness for the last week, fatigue, one or two little waves of nausea, but nothing major.
Looking forward to connecting with you all! **EDIT** I changed my username before posting this but it looks like it didn't reflect yet...username anni_4121
How you found out: I just did my first letrozole cycle because I have anovulatory PCOS and was testing too early i though. Got a light but clear positive at 9 DPO
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I am a special education teacher. Husband is also a teacher. We have a dog and two bunnies. I like to sew, knit, cross stitch, play video games, read, and nap.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? I am already a bit nauseous and my breasts have been tender since I ovulated. I am emotionally feeling so hopeful but also nervous because I had a chemical in august last year which was the last time I ovulated. I am happy that I seem to have no issue conceiving when I can actually ovulate but I am just hoping I don’t have my heart broken again. however my tests are darkening way more than they did with my chemical, so I’m hoping that’s a good sign. I know it doesn’t really tell me much, but it’s a small comfort right now.
How you found out: took a few tests, all have been positive
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) This will be our first baby. We got married at 18, in 2011 but did not want to have a family straight away. We have been trying to conceive since October 2022. We have 1 dog, she is around 10 years old. I work for a storage facility and my husband works in a tile factory.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? Lots of fatigue for now. I get a little nauseous in the evenings but can usually eat a snack to remedy it. I am over the moon excited. I have only told 1 family member other than my husband. We are planning to announce to our family on Fathers Day. We bought keepsake family memory books when we first started ttc and I just ordered some shirts with everyone’s “new title” to give to everyone.
Congratulations to all the other expectant mothers! I look forward to building a community with you all!
How you found out: I noticed my toddler was extra clingy and sensitive to anything I did… then I realized I was 4 days late on my period so I tested.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I have one boy who just turned 4. I have a 14-year old yorkie who is seriously the best doggie ever. I’m a speech language pathologist and I love reading in my spare time
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)?: really just tired. My husband and I joke that I slept the entire first trimester with my first baby.. it’s looking that way with this one too (:
How you found out: my husband and I just started TTC. We are on vacation and I just wasn’t feeling great at breakfast so I took a test and was surprised to see a second line!
Tell us about yourself: my husband and I are coming up on our 2 year wedding anniversary! We have a dog but this is my first pregnancy. I am a special education teacher and teach life/job skills to high school students!
How are you feeling: just some slight morning sickness/queasiness and sore boobs! We are out of the country so it’s hard to decipher if the fatigue I feel is from the pregnancy or jet lag. I am so excited but also extremely anxious and trying to manage my expectations while also allowing myself to soak it all in! Lots of emotions happening. We wont be back in the states for another 2 weeks so hopefully I’ll be able to get an appointment for right when we come back.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) This is my first pregnancy. My husband and I got married in October and we have 3 dogs.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? It doesn’t feel real yet. My boobs are sore and I’ve been a bit nauseous… nothing crazy yet but I’m still early on.
How you found out: I was a few days late. Yesterday I started spotting assumed I was starting my period. I woke up this morning to no more spotting but lots of period like cramps and sore boobs. I took two tests and both were positive!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I’ve been married almost 12 years. We have a 9 yo and a 7 1/2 yo. I’m currently a SAHM. We just lost our beagle of 12 years a month ago. We have an 11 yo yorkie and a English golden retriever on reserve for the end of this month. Let’s add a baby and a puppy to the mix 🤣.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)?Symptoms right now just some cramps, sore boobs and constantly thirsty, which I remembered from my last two pregnancies MANY moons ago! I go through waves of excited, nervous and scared! We weren’t trying but also not opposed to a 3rd. Just a sweet little surprise 😊.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I am a stay at home mom to my son and daughter. This is baby #3 and I’m nervous bc I’ve had 3 miscarriages. My husband and I pray this baby just keeps growing and is healthy.🤞🏼🙏🏼
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? I feel a little tired. I’ve had some very light brown spotting a noticeable bc I’m on high alert
How I found out: couldn’t sleep, up until 2 in the morning and just felt off. Hasn’t even missed a period yet and came back positive.
About myself: No kids. 2 very friendly cats. Insurance broker and so is my husband.
How I’m feeling: Light nausea and mild cramping. Not shocked this happened. I just underwent an infertility panel of testing within the past 6 weeks. The SIS and HSG dye tests have been known to “flush the tubes” and here we are. I had a chemical pregnancy in January 2023 at 4 weeks.
How you found out: I got my IUD out recently, and was tracking ovulation to get back on track with my cycle. I took a pregnancy test on 10 DPO as a “maybe but probably not” thing and sureeee enough, we got a faint line! Now it’s a few days later, and the line keeps getting darker 🤞🏼
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): I have a 3.5yr old son & am incredible partner of 8 years! He and I had experienced a miscarriage before our son, so we’re trying to keep level heads and take things day by day. I do hair and energy work as a career, so I’m excited to finally be able to share the news with my clients in a month or two!
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)?: symptoms are coming in hot, more quickly than with my son! I have some nausea and EXTREME fatigue. Also experiencing some dizziness here and there. Emotions are allllllll over the place. But that’s part of the gig, right? 😂
How you found out: I am still nursing my 1 year old and have been tracking my cycles to avoid pregnancy. We didn't want to try for another, but were open to the idea if it happened. I haven't had regular cycles yet, so I decided to test as I thought I may be late on my period.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I have 4 kids ages 7, 6, 3, & 1. I am a stay at home mom & I just started homeschooling my oldest this past year. My husband works full time & we have a small hobby farm. We also just bought our first house that we are renovating. We thought all 4 kids would have their own room, but looks like someone has to share 😂.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? I am bloated & have been a bit nauseous. Emotionally, I am having mixed feelings. I am mostly excited, but a bit nervous to be having another baby.
How you found out: We had been trying and our timing was great this month. I didn't feel any of my normal PMS symptoms so that triggered me to test 2 days before my missed period.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) we each have one son from previous marriages. 10 & 14. starting over with older kids and blending our families sounded fun! We have a 7 year old French bulldog who we joke is actually the true love of my life lol My husband and i have been married 3 years.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? I think I'm mostly in shock. (TW) we just experienced our 3rd loss in March so we're nervous and excited that things happened again so quickly (end TW). My bbs have been sore for the last 4 straight days and i kind of forgot about this part. Also some cramping that always gets my anxiety rolling.
How I Found Out: Stopped taking BC pill in March/April right around time I decided I wanted to get an IUD. Hubby and I decided to go for 1 more… so cancelled the IUD. Really monitored everything first month trying with ovulation etc and figured we needed a few cycles. But thought I was first month because I had nausea and such but turned out to be my period. The 2nd month trying I felt the ovulation tests were off. My period was only a few days late and went away this past weekend with hubby camping. Took a test along and just had this feeling on Sunday. Took a test and it was positive! Sat the test in the bathroom for my hubby to see when he went in. Had lab work done yesterday to confirm.
About Me/Us: My hubby and I are high school sweethearts of 22 years (started dating at 16), and will be married 14 years next week. We had 1 miscarriage in 2012, and then we have 3 kiddos. Oldest daughter is 9/finishing 3rd grade, middle boy is 5/starts Kindergarten in Fall, Youngest girl just turned 2 in May. I work from home as an Insurance Underwriter, been doing this since high school. My hubby is a Shop Foreman and Service Tech at an automotive dealership. We enjoy camping, car shows etc. We have a 1 year old Black Lab and 2 cats. (We lost our first dog in Nov that we had before our kiddos).
How I am Feeling: Somewhat surprised still that this is actually happening and having a 4th! But very excited to complete our family with 1 more! At 38, I wouldn’t have guessed we’d want 1 more but here we are! No real symptoms, I’m overweight this time and starting heavier than I want and already look somewhat pregnant lol so it won’t be noticeable for a while Atleast.
Looking forward to getting to know everyone and join this ride together! Congratulations to everyone!
Hello fellow moms... this feels so strange and I never post on things like this, but it's a weird feeling keeping a big secret from everyone but my husband.
> Due date: February 12
> How you found out: Decided to start trying after 3 years of marriage, very happy to have gotten pregnant on the first cycle... it's so surreal!! I had some old mail so I printed out a fake "invoice" for my husband to read to 'see if it was junk mail' and it had an itemized list of baby info and said congratulations, he didn't get it until he read the entire thing twice! He was in shock--it all happened so fast.
> Tell us about yourself We have a cat, I teach 3rd grade and my husband is in insurance. I love art and decorating and home renovation shows. This will be our first baby. Husband is super supportive and already paranoid about how I'm doing... but he's super stressed about finances since we just moved to a new house and he got a new job. I don't work in the summer. I hope he can start getting excited soon, but I know he has a lot on his mind now too!
> How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? Had some nosebleeds, cramping and emotional moments that seemed out of the ordinary and tested 11 DPO, got a negative. Figured that was that. Tested again since my period is due and there was my positive!
How you found out: We'd been trying for a couple of cycles, but then I came down with COVID a few days before ovulation, so I thought we'd missed our window for the month! But then I was feeling a bit off the week before my period, and some pains that made me worried about an ectopic prompted me to test the day my period was due. Astonishingly, it was positive! Followed up with HCG blood test five days later, and it was at a very encouraging level for 4 weeks.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): First human child, but we have a one-year-old fluffy black cat named Lina. My husband and I are both academics, and I work on climate change and food/agriculture sustainability.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? Mostly pretty good. I'm still getting the low abdominal pain, but I also had inguinal hernia repair a few years ago, which sometimes hurts with bloating or stretching or constipation. So my guess/hope is it's just that. Lower back pain and some headaches have been my main complaints.
> How you found out: We have been trying for 6 months! I took 4 positive tests once I hit 10dpo.
> Tell us about yourself: This will be my first little! I am a youth educator and my husband is a writer. We have a sweet dog named Elsie. I love to craft and play games/sports. I can't wait to be a mom!
> How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? I am so excited and so, so nervous. I just want this to be a safe/healthy pregnancy. I feel good in general, just some minor cramping.
How you found out: missed period and decided to test
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I am 27, I love to write and listen to music. I’m in the IT industry and right now my fav thing to do is sleep
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? This is my first baby and I’m just hoping gif the best. I don’t have any symptoms as of yet
How you found out: Been trying for 5 months. Tested positive 12 dpo. I knew 11 dpo because I woke up at 2am cramping and super sick (implantation?). Very clearly not period cramps.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): no children! We had surprise pregnancy a year ago. Ended as a missed miscarriage around 9-10 weeks. Followed by chemical pregnancy few months later. We have 2 dogs and married in March! We are very excited for a baby. I work in Tech Acquisitions and my husband is a DJ.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? Ughhh I’m EXHAUSTED. Some day’s nauseous but it’s small waves. I nap daily. I’m a little emotional more irritable. Already bloated and showing. Bbs hurt. Cramping comes and goes. This pregnancy is harder than the last one already!
Early US tomorrow just to confirm progress and monitor this baby early since we didn’t with the last one. HCG has been doubling and in high numbers, so looking good!
Hi All! Hope everyone is having a fantastic day :). Congratulations everyone!
Due date: Feb 6th
How you found out: My spouse and I have been trying for over a year now with an IF journey, part of which includes tracking ovulation and this cycle taking Clomid… and it WORKED! He kept asking me if I “felt pregnant” and I realized my normally bad PMS was absent… So I took a test 5 days before my expected cycle, negative, then again once before my expected cycle and see an overwhelming POSITIVE! I had some onesies I bought from a last trip to Disney a few months ago, and I had hope I would one day get to give them along with the positive test so we wouldn't wait any time to share the news.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) We have no other children or pets — It has been just us for 9 years (10 this year). We enjoy spoiling our nieces and playing tennis together!
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? BREAST SORENESS 😂 Anyone else out there having to wear a loose bra to sleep for support to help the ache? Emotionally, I just can’t wait for that first ultrasound.
How you found out: I was tracking ovulation and felt a lot of twinges. I also started falling asleep at 9pm with the TV and lights on which is not like me at all. I had some pretty strange dreams as well. So I tested way too early and got some negatives which I convinced myself to be true. I was going somewhere with my SIL and didn't want to turn down a drink if I didn't have to and tested one last time and I got my positive.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I just turned 36. I have 3 children (7,6&3.) We decided 4 is the number so we decided to try for one more. I expected it to take awhile (thanks Google and 35+ statistics) but we made it work first cycle. I feel very blessed for that. We also have a 6yr old American Bulldog who is my big baby. Hubby and I both play a lot of tennis and love anything outdoors.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? I'm really excited. I know how fast this all goes since I've done it a few times. I'm really trying not to worry and appreciate the process. I plan on this being my last and I just want to savor all of it. My symptoms are cramps, sore tatas, gurgly belly, and some intense fatigue.
I always love reading everyone's introductions and birth stories. It keeps me busy and hopeful. This all consumes your mind and it's nice hearing from others who get it. Congratulations to all and I wish you all the best!
I didn’t believe the pregnancy test the first day I saw it. I thought I was being optimistic. But now it’s 5 weeks and I’m hopeful that this baby is here to stay.
About me: Im in my 30s and just went back to school to become a nurse. I’ve been so tired, but keeping on top of my school work is a good distraction from pregnancy obsession. My spouse teaches Japanese and is currently leading a student trip to Japan for the next few weeks.
I keep chickens and like gardening, but have been avoiding because of toxoplasmosis risk until I can figure out how to be safe. My first pregnancy would have been due Feb. 2023. I feel conflicted. I want to believe this one will be okay and bond, but feel like I’m holding back my expectations. Anyone else going through this?
How I found out: I felt a weird nagging sense to test so I did.
About me: I'm 26 this September, I'm a mother of three (4,4&3) living children and a parent to two.(4&4) My family are DV survivors and my husband is the step up father of my children, though he's also my high school sweetheart.
I love animals, I'm a stay at home mom who streams gaming and loves baking. I have rats, soft furs, cats, geckos etc.
This is our rainbow baby - our loss was mother's day weekend 2020 - we came to terms with being emotionally ready for our rainbow just about 6 months ago so we stopped preventing, we just got married after ten years last October and are excited and terrified for this new development. This means we need a bigger car, look into a house sooner than later etc.
Looking forward to meeting you all and hoping to make it through this together.
How you found out: just started TTC after coming off hormonal BC in Feb. took a test a few days before my missed period because I had a girls weekend coming up and wanted to know before. It was positive!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) Married since Oct 2022, 2 cats, 0 children, microbiologist, like reading and am a big foodie!
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? Nothing I can definitely say is from the pregnancy. Tired and bloated but it’s also been a busy few weeks with a lot of salty foods.
How you found out: My husband came home from vacation and was ready to start trying and so was I! We tried the 1st week he came home and I happened to be ovulating. I started on the 1st day of my period and it was positive!!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I’m 35, have been married almost 8 years and this will be baby #3 as I have a 4 year old and 2 year old. I’m a sales strategy manager and my hubby works in sales also. I love traveling, hanging with my neighborhood mom tribe and reading!
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? Honestly randomly feeling shortness of breathe but no other major symptoms yet. They usually start for me around week 7.
How you found out: Sore breasts and crampy. I told myself this would be the last month to try.
Tell us about yourself: I'm 41 with an almost four year old boy. My husband and I have been trying for a second for three years. My dad recently passed away and I know when one life leaves, another enters and I had a feeling I was going to get pregnant. It's bittersweet.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)?
I'm feeling very crampy and I'm dealing with constipation. I'm nervous daily and my first appointment isn't until two more weeks. It feels like a lifetime. I know everything is out of our control but I just want to hear a heartbeat. I know that's normal. Here's to all of us ladies and I pray for healthy and happy months to come. Happy to be here.
How I found out: We did an embryo transfer and my doctor called with HCG blood test results. This was the first transfer I did not do a home test first.
About myself: I'm 32, first pregnancy after 2 years of IVF. My husband and I have been married for almost 6 years. He is a firefighter and I am a teacher.
How I'm feeling: Sore boobs, light cramping but not painful. Very tired (but that's normal for me).
Due date is February 13th , found out because my period was 2 days late. 3 rd pregnancy over here so hoping my energy levels can keep up with my 2 year old boy and my 7 year old girl 😅 supposed to get married in a month so my wedding dress is a bust now . Not having any symptoms yet because being extra hungry.
How you found out: I tested this morning on a bit of a whim and saw a faint line so I took another… and another later after work! We were NTNP since my second daughter was born.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) My husband and I are nurses. We’ve been married 2.5 years and have 2 daughters (9 and almost 2). We also have 2 dogs and 2 cats.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? I’ve been fighting an awful cold. My toddler has the same congestion but hasn’t seemed as miserable as I’ve felt. I jokingly told coworkers today that this must be what a man cold feels like!
Due date: Feb 15th How I found out: I had a gut feeling so I took a test a few days before my period was supposed to start. I couldn’t believe it when I saw 2 lines!
Right now it’s my husband and I and our two dogs, one frenchie and one pittie. We have been married for 6 years and live in the icy cold state of Wisconsin.
I feel like my symptoms have been really mild. My biggest symptom has been sore boobs, tiredness, and mild cramping. So far no sickness!
How you found out: we had been trying for 4 years took a test 9dpo neg took another test 11dpo vfl. Then took a clear blue and it said pregnant 🤰🏾
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) This is my husband and I 1st child. We are so excited! I enjoy wellness, creating content on YouTube and laughing and having fun.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? No morning sickness I’m praying it stays this way. Just tender breast, fatigue, and out of breath all the time.
I’m loving this journey. Excited to connect with you all 💕
How you found out: period was about 5 days late so I took a test and there it was lol. I took 3 more after that.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)- We have a 1 year old Shih tzu but this is my first human child. my partner and I have been together for 4 years but known each other over 6years from college days. I work in tech industry.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)?- I think I’m still in shock, but also a bit excited as well. I’ve been very emotional especially today. I’ve been feeling light cramps here and there and my boobs are super swollen and sore
How you found out: we were trying so we were testing early. I wasn’t going to test as early as I originally did but hubby said why not and we got the faintest line ever at like 11:30 at night on 8dpo 🤣
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) Hubby and I have 2 daughters from my previous marriage. They’re 5 and almost 6. We also have 3 dogs and some chickens and a snake - a zoo. But I love it so much. I’m a SAHM by choice and I feel fortunate. We love everything from music to cars, and we are Harry Potter fanatics so everything for baby will be HP themed.
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)? This is our last baby so that’s been a rollercoaster 🤣 and my very first pregnancy was a MMC so I don’t think that fear ever goes away. I was super nauseous the first week but that’s settled down, but I am just plain exhausted all the time. I feel like that gets worse with each pregnancy. Or maybe age? I’ll be 34 in a week and my 3 previous pregnancies were in my 20s.
Re: Introduction Thread!

Let's introduce ourselves here:
Due date: feb 1, I think.
(End TW)
I used to be a financial advisor, but I left my career to stay home for a bit because my daughter has a rare disease and daycare wasn’t viable for her anymore.
Spouse/partner?)
This will be our first baby.
Spouse/partner?)
This will be our first baby.
How you found out: Took a few early tests!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
This is my first pregnancy.
How you found out: took a test
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
I am a stay at home mom to my son and daughter.
Nice to meet everyone!
How are you feeling (any symptoms, Emotionally)?:
symptoms are coming in hot, more quickly than with my son! I have some nausea and EXTREME fatigue. Also experiencing some dizziness here and there. Emotions are allllllll over the place. But that’s part of the gig, right? 😂
Due date: February 3
How you found out: I am still nursing my 1 year old and have been tracking my cycles to avoid pregnancy. We didn't want to try for another, but were open to the idea if it happened. I haven't had regular cycles yet, so I decided to test as I thought I may be late on my period.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
I have 4 kids ages 7, 6, 3, & 1.
Due date: February 12
How you found out: We had been trying and our timing was great this month. I didn't feel any of my normal PMS symptoms so that triggered me to test 2 days before my missed period.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
we each have one son from previous marriages. 10 & 14. starting over with older kids and blending our families sounded fun!
Hubby and I decided to go for 1
more… so cancelled the IUD.
> Due date:
February 12
> How you found out:
Decided to start trying after 3 years of marriage, very happy to have gotten pregnant on the first cycle... it's so surreal!! I had some old mail so I printed out a fake "invoice" for my husband to read to 'see if it was junk mail' and it had an itemized list of baby info and said congratulations, he didn't get it until he read the entire thing twice! He was in shock--it all happened so fast.
> Tell us about yourself
We have a cat, I teach 3rd grade and my husband is in insurance.
Due date: 4 February 2024
I always love reading everyone's introductions and birth stories. It keeps me busy and hopeful. This all consumes your mind and it's nice hearing from others who get it. Congratulations to all and I wish you all the best!
My name is Emma.
My first pregnancy would have been due Feb. 2023. I feel conflicted. I want to believe this one will be okay and bond, but feel like I’m holding back my expectations. Anyone else going through this?
How I found out: I felt a weird nagging sense to test so I did.
About me:
I'm 26 this September, I'm a mother of three (4,4&3) living children and a parent to two.(4&4)
My family are DV survivors and my husband is the step up father of my children, though he's also my high school sweetheart.
How I found out: We did an embryo transfer and my doctor called with HCG blood test results. This was the first transfer I did not do a home test first.
About myself: I'm 32, first pregnancy after 2 years of IVF. My husband and I have been married for almost 6 years. He is a firefighter and I am a teacher.
How I'm feeling: Sore boobs, light cramping but not painful. Very tired (but that's normal for me).
Due date: 2/25
How you found out: I tested this morning on a bit of a whim and saw a faint line so I took another… and another later after work! We were NTNP since my second daughter was born.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
My husband and I are nurses.
How I found out: I had a gut feeling so I took a test a few days before my period was supposed to start.
Due date: Feb 4th
How you found out: we had been trying for 4 years took a test 9dpo neg took another test 11dpo vfl. Then took a clear blue and it said pregnant 🤰🏾
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
This is my husband and I 1st child.
Spouse/partner?)
Hubby and I have 2 daughters from my previous marriage.
Looking forward to getting to know everyone!
