I had my progesterone checked at 5W6D and it was at 12.1. My OB prescribed 400mg of progesterone to be taken vaginally at bed time. Went back at 6W6D for a blood draw and my levels had dropped to 9.2. I have a sonogram in 3 days. Nurse bumped me up to 400 MG morning and bedtime. Feeling very disheartened by progesterone levels. Anyone else have a similar experience?

I completely panicked when my progesterone levels dropped AFTER I had been on suppositories for a week. The nurse I talked to following those results was not very reassuring and even told me she “didn’t want to give me false hope”. But here we are! So if your PG levels are low- it doesn’t necessarily mean the worst. Just stay in communication with your doctor and try to rest easy until you can be seen.
