Re: NIPT Results Megathread

  • I just had my blood drawn on Tuesday for Maternit21. They said I’m supposed to get the results back in 7-10 days, but I’m super anxious that there won’t be a high enough fetal fraction. My BMI is 45 and my nerves are overwhelming right now. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

  • Quick question for all of you - how long did it take for you to get your results back? Tested late Wednesday afternoon and still haven’t heard anything.
  • @kmarino134567 was exactly a week for me! My nurse estimated 7-10 day turnaround.
  • Yay! Congratulations! Which company was used for your testing?
  • Tested on Friday 6/2 and got our results five days later from Natera. Healthy, low risk, boy!
  • Found out today my blood work got messed up and now I have to go back. I'm so bummed.

I have done the NIPT test twice came back inconclusive. I believe it might have to do with my BMI but I also have learned it is common for this to happen. Now at 16 weeks I just had a quad screen was told I have a 20% chance of Down syndrome baby. I’m 41 , this is my first pregnancy and it’s been a rocky road to get here. I truly don’t believe my baby has DS. I do not want to do an amniocentesis. I understand your concern. Have faith in god and that all will be well! Send a prayer my way too if you can 🙏🏾❤️😭
