Shitty day (vent)

So my two year old was supposed to be napping. Little one was down for a nap. I put away a couple loads of laundry and felt like for once I was ahead. Nope my two year old comes walzing out of his room buck naked. With half a turd hanging off his butt. Oh and smeared all over his body.I thought I must have accidentally gotten drunk and passed out because this couldn't be real life. So I told him to go stand in the bathroom and don't move. I go into his room and he has smeared it all over the carpet. Then LO starts screaming bloody murder. I need all the alchohols and all the chocolates.

I have literally changed Lo three times including the one after i gave him a bath, today.. puke fest is on board and then hes just normally hungry again ..i have to cook, fold clothes and take a bath all seem far.. shitty monday

Thanks Chillpr you did make me laugh and also made a good point. Lol Bonus DH is heading out to pick up dinner and I have decided that after I put LO down for bed I'm taking a long bath with a glass of wine. I shall drink to all of you who have also had a crappy Monday.

I have found that the kids have some sort of sixth sense about a parent "feeling ahead." A few weeks ago my baby did his first very long stretch. I went back to bed thinking how well rested I would be the next day. My older son who has literally never come into our room woke me up at 415 and then for the day at 615. I've decided to never get my hopes up like that ever again.

Ouch...that's a rough one. Sorry, mama. I can relate...Right around a year ago when DD1 turned 2, she also learned how to climb out of her crib. We realized we needed to take the rail off ASAP when I walked into her room when I thought she was napping, only to find her straddling the crib rail half in, half out....with her diaper off and poo smeared all over the rail, her crib, and her. I definitely feel your pain!
