Placenta Previa

Hello , Has anyone been diagnosed with complete Placenta Previa and experienced spotting/bleeding throughout 2nd and 3rd trimester ? And how did the pregnancy turn out?

Just commenting to support you, because I know this can be really stressful. I’m 17 weeks with the lowest level placenta previa (just close to the cervix) and I’ve had two episodes so far of brown spotting two and a half weeks apart, just like the doctor told us would happen. Even though he says not to be nervous about it, it’s hard not to be 😅. But he did say that in his 40 years in practice he’s only had one patient lose her baby due to bleeding from placenta previa. Also, my aunt had placenta previa in both of her pregnancies and bled a lot throughout the entire time. My cousins are 45 and 42 years old now, so it ended up ok 😁.

Hi!! I am 14 weeks, 35yrs old on baby #4 and was just told I have complete placenta previa. So far I have not experienced any bleeding, thank goodness, but I am constantly checking for it everyday…I’ve been reading up on it and talking to family members about it and most say don’t be worriedd if bleeding does happen. I’ve read about some cases where the placenta would move it too, so I think it’s ok. Not husband in the other hand is completely freaked out and won’t let me do anything, which is nice sometimes lol. I came here to learn more and be supportive🤗
