*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. Pretty sure we’ve got it picked out. 😊
*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? I’m so grateful for an uneventful and easy pregnancy thus far. Can’t believe I’m almost halfway through! I’m also starting to feel more consistent movement from the baby which is doing so much to ease my PGAL anxiety! I’m still lurking often and rooting for more graduates soon, especially from the IF and TTCAL ladies! 💙💙
@gingermama29 I'm so happy to hear everything is going great!! Good luck at your anatomy scan on Friday!!!
PG #2: EDD 8/15/23 Miscarried 9w1d 1/11/23

*Team Pink/Blue/Green? Green
*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. Not even close 😅😅
*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share?
PGAL is hardddd. I am always finding little things to worry about and trying not too. I need to schedule an ultrasound to calm my nerves until my anatomy scan on May 4. I had an early anatomy scan (as they do here!) at 13 weeks and everything was perfect. It feels surreal to be 16 weeks. I am really trying to enjoy it as much as I can as this is the last pregnancy no matter what. So trying to focus on the positives but anxiety is hard.
*Live, Love, Laugh, Learn*
*How long were you active on TTGP and when (minimum of 3 months)? June 2022 - August 2022
*How far along are you? 36W4D
*Which birth month board/due date? May 5
*Team Pink/Blue/Green? Blue
*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. Calvin, CJ, Cal Pal, Calvin Cubbage...yeah, we're pretty much set.
*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? The nursery is a cluttered mess but we have just about everything we need. DH and I plan to finish things up this weekend and go on one last pre-baby date while DD spends the night at grandma's.
Baby has been in prime position for quite a while now and I just finished filling out my birth plan. I'm so excited that after all the hoopla around my myomectomy, prior CS, and my original provider being dismissed from the hospital system, my VBAC is definitely going forward! ...unless something crazy happens at the last second. But this pregnancy has been wonderfully uneventful and I'm not letting any "what ifs" scare me this time around.
I probably won't post on the May grad check-in until baby is here. Wishing you all health and happiness in the mean time while I continue to lurk on the weekly grad threads
And lurk on the wacky peggies who have nothing better to do than make up a story about getting pregnant with triplets by their 96-year-old partner and suggesting someone else name their baby "Drywall."
*How long were you active on TTGP and when (minimum of 3 months)? April-August 2022
*How far along are you? 2 days postpartum
*Which birth month board/due date? April 10, baby was born on his due date!
*Team Pink/Blue/Green? It’s a boy!
*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. He is Theodore Justin
*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? I woke up to contractions on Monday and baby boy was born early in the afternoon. My first was accidentally unmedicated and this one was purposely unmedicated. I had to do a lot of advocating for myself in the hospital and wasn’t a huge fan of most of the nurses or the doctor who ended up delivering. We are home now and doing well, working on breastfeeding and physically recovering. This is most certainly my last baby so I will not likely be back on this board to try to get pregnant, but wish you guys the best. What a wonderful, supportive, kind, and badass group of women you all are.
Umm, what the heck, is this for real? Still pinching myself.
*How long were you active on TTGP and when (minimum of 3 months)? Since May 2018, with some breaks in between
*How far along are you? 9w5d (!!)
*Which birth month board/due date? Nov / 11/11/23 - Not really active on my BMB yet
*Team Pink/Blue/Green? Team finding out - I learned I could have found out after our first US because they know the sex of the embryo we transferred, but we'll wait for NIPT results in 2 weeks.
*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. So far I've only managed to veto "Egbert" and "Egbertha", which was apparently what DH wanted to name his baby brother 37 years ago and is now a running joke in the family. DH thinks it's hilarious to tease me about it.
*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? We continue to hold our breath not really believing this is actually happening for us after 5+ years. We've surpassed all our previous milestones so far, which is both reassuring and terrifying. NIPT is on Sunday, and NT will be sometime the first week of May I think. Baby measuring a few days behind but otherwise looks good, HB was 168 on Friday. We've started telling family little by little, which has been surreal. Lots of tears (like from my Uncle/Godfather, which I totally didn't expect), so we have a lot of people rooting for this baby.
Still missing my TTGP fam, lurking when I can (which isn't that often these days). Hugs all around. And never forget that I'm just a PM or a tag away!

*Team Pink/Blue/Green? BLUE!
*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. We've named him William Alexander
*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? He's finally here! Erm... all 10lbs 8oz of him, pushed out of my vajajay. You know... after 37 hours of labor and almost 4 hours of pushing. Birthing process was long and hard and painful (before I got the epidural, 9cm in), but H and I were in total control of how things went (mine was an elective, planned induction at 40w exactly; I wasn't comfortable going past 40w given my ripe ol' age of 39.5) and baby boy cooperated with a strong heartbeat throughout the process. I did have to get a blood transfusion after the fact as I lost a lot of blood given the long labor / big baby, and ended up with severe symptomatic anemia. But, my doctor was on top of her game and I listened to her good advice which has really helped speed up my recovery.
Upon the advice of our postpartum doula, we're not doing any family planning at present time, so I'm not sure if I'll return to this board as an active participant. However, I will continue to lurk as time allows and cheer on all of you, especially my IF gals.

*Team Pink/Blue/Green? Green
*How are you doing picking out a name? Feel free to share it. Still no updates in this area.
*Questions, concerns or other? Anything else exciting to share? Had my anatomy scan today, was feeling superstitious and just wanted to wait to post my update until the all clear. Baby was super cooperative and we got some great images, and all looks well. Had a minor concern over the placenta abutting my cervix, I love that my practice has two full time MFMs, so the sonographer checked in with the one before letting me go. She said let’s do an internal to get a better look and thankfully placenta is not nearly as close as it initially appeared. And my cervix is healthy and shut. Minus some intermittent sciatic pain I’m feeling gloriously normal.
So exciting to lurk and see some departures from the board, and hoping for more to follow!!
