Preeclampsia

Hi all, was wondering if any of you experienced preeclampsia, or more specifically, HELLP syndrome (a rare form of preeclampsia). I was wondering if anyone went through something similar, and if you went on to have more pregnancies. Luckily myself and my son are healthy, but I think mentally it’s been difficult to wrap my head around all of this because I easily could have died and I later learned from my OB that they actually debated if they should remove my uterus to stop my PP hemorrhage. Luckily the bleeding was able to be stopped, but now knowing all of this and the statistics of HELLP syndrome, it’s scary thinking about a future pregnancy. I did read that once you go through it once it’s easier for doctors to monitor you because they know what to look for. Anyways, I was hoping to connect to someone who went through something similar and whether or not you decided to keep having children despite having the disease.
