First viable pregnancy here. Ive had extremely vivid, adventurous dreams every day since week 5. Also It seems the further I get into the pregnancy, the more likely I am to have a dream I dont like. (not a nightmare) as if the fun/not fun dream scale tips the further you get in pregnancy
I have vivid dreams in general, but when I'm pregnant they are soo intense. I have happy ones. Exciting ones. And awful sad ones. Sometimes I'm up at 3AM because Iif I do fall back asleep I go back to a terrible dream. I have some that get me going and wake my husband. Haha the dreams are great and such a pain at the same time. I don't remember them getting worse or anything. It could be your inner anxiety showing through. I hope they go back to the fun and exciting kinds soon!
My midwife says the dreams that we have while pregnant are often rooted in the worries and joys of pregnancy and the changing roles of our lives. Hormones play a part as well. I'm sorry you're going through this. Please consider sharing them with someone you trust: your spouse, a friend, or someone else who is pregnant. Discussing your potential fears or revelations behind the dreams with a confidante is often easier than trying to make sense of them on your own and can help you feel much better. I could drop a pregnancy support group with a midwife. She's has been an amazing with me and has helped me with my anxiety. www.getsoulside.com
I m on a spiritual path and I do believe in pregnancy dreams . These r the signs from the universe which is trying to communicate with u . Always take it seriously and see the interpretation as well . I've had 4 miscarriages in a row and before having them I use to get vivid dreams about rotten eggs or fruits . So in my opinion do take them seriously .
