Is Zika still travel concern?

Is it still a risk to travel somewhere like Bahamas when pregnant? Have your doctors said anything? Have you traveled anywhere tropical while pregnant within 2022/2023?
family vacation in the works but now I don’t know what to do.

Zika definitely still exists, and it was a consideration for me when we made travel plans when I was pregnant last summer. I didn't want to risk it, so we avoided looking at places where it was endemic, and decided against tropical locales, though I'm sure some are safe. Ultimately we went to New Brunswick, but we were strongly considering Slovenia as well. Good luck finding a place you're comfortable with!

It is based on my chat with my OB. Hence we chose Bermuda for our babymoon. Heading out there next week, super excited! Make sure you’re also covered from a medical insurance perspective in case of any emergencies.
