Rowan Mary Or Matilda Mary

My husband and I can’t decide which name we like better.  

Mary is a family name on my side. 

Last name starts with a S.

Rowan to me sounds like an overdone masculine name on a girl trendy name. 

Matilda is ok but I don’t like it with Mary. If Mary is a non-negotiable I would keep looking.

I like Matilda much better than Rowan but Rowan goes better with Mary. Agree with previous poster that if Mary is required, ditch Matilda as an option.

What about Marilyn? I think Matilda Marilyn flows well if you're set on having mary as a middle name. Best of luck selecting a name

Out of these two options, I much prefer Matilda Mary. Although I’m not usually a fan of repeating initials, at least her monogram will be beautiful and balanced!
