How are you feeling?: okay! Nausea is still omnipresent but I think I’ve got the hang of managing it now.
Rants/Raves: Today is my last day in the office for two weeks!! My dad is arriving tomorrow and we’ll be staying with my ILs for a week over Thanksgiving and then having a relaxing week at our house doing whatever we want to. I’m so excited!
GTKY: What is your favorite Thanksgiving dish? Oooh tough one. I didn’t grow up with Thanksgiving but I looooove all the food. I don’t think I can pick a favorite, it all goes so well together! Except pumpkin pie. Not a fan.

Upcoming Appointments: this Wednesday for our AS. Anxious and looking forward to it all at the same time.
How are you feeling?: Not bad, but I think I over did it this weekend. My feet and my back are starting to become pretty impatient with me.
Rants/Raves: I'm so looking forward to the long weekend! Bring on some rest!
GTKY: What is your favorite Thanksgiving dish? This is a tough one for me. I absolutely love all the foods of Thanksgiving. Stuffing, green bean casserole, and pumpkin pie are probably my top 3.
FTM/STM/TTM+: STM EDD/Weeks+Days: 4/19, 18w5d Baby is the size of: postcard Team blue/pink/green: Green Upcoming Appointments: 12/1 anatomy scan! Also trying to get in with my chiropractor this week 🤞 How are you feeling?: heartburn 🔥🔥 Rants/Raves: ready for DH to have a few days off so we can spend some time together as a family! Maybe even get our Christmas tree this weekend 😬
GTKY: What is your favorite Thanksgiving dish? ohhh I love pretty much all of it!! Mashed potatoes w/ gravy, green bean casserole...also my mom makes this amazing pineapple casserole (that tastes just as good for breakfast the next day). Not a fan of most of the desserts though (no pumpkin or pecan for me)
FTM/STM/TTM+: STM EDD/Weeks+Days: 4/29 17w2d Baby is the size of: pomegranate Team blue/pink/green: pink Upcoming Appointments: AS on 12/14 How are you feeling?: some lingering nausea, especially with temp changes Rants/Raves: We're trying to decide between 2 doulas, and I cannot make up my mind!
GTKY: What is your favorite Thanksgiving dish? Probably stuffing. I also really like pumpkin pie. I do not like green bean casserole, although maybe I've just never had a good one.
FTM/STM/TTM+: STM EDD/Weeks+Days: April 10/ 20 weeks Baby is the size of: Team blue/pink/green: finding out Wednesday! Upcoming Appointments: Anatomy Scan Wednesday How are you feeling?: good! My son is back to sleeping through the night again and we’re all mostly healthy with maybe just a little residual cough. I’m feeling baby move a bunch which is reassuring. Rants/Raves: We only have two days of work this week then off until Monday! We get to find out the sex of the baby Wednesday and I’m pretty sure I have the first appointment of the day which is good because I can hardly stand waiting anymore!
GTKY: What is your favorite Thanksgiving dish? Green bean casserole is my #1 but my MIL makes an awesome sweet potato casserole as well. I’m excited to be able to wear maternity pants for Thanksgiving this year 😆
Team blue/pink/green: Finding out Wednesday, so anxious and excited!
Upcoming Appointments: AS this Wednesday
How are you feeling?: A lot better, small pains here and there but definitely on the up. Still not feeling any movement which makes my anxiety pretty constant. I am counting the minutes until Wednesday just to know everything is okay.
Rants/Raves: Rant, people have make subtle jokes about my weight and growth already like I am ginormous, and I feel like I am sort of tiny. I am already a little self conscious and crazy stressed if I am eating too much or too little. I don’t need outside comments from people who don’t know anything anyways. Rave, my husband has been so great and supportive with help around the house on days I have awful days at work. It has been so nice to be spoiled some!
GTKY: What is your favorite Thanksgiving dish? Everything, especially the mashed potatoes and stuffing!
@iiirene I have the first appointment on Wednesday too, so so ready to go right now though haha!
How are you feeling?: Between my chiropractor appts and weekly prenatal yoga, pretty good! Wish I didn't wake up at 3am every night though and fall back asleep at 5am
Rants/Raves: Loving these baby kicks and tumbles! My husband is able to feel them and he is so excited! I catch him taking bump pictures randomly. ❤️
GTKY: What is your favorite Thanksgiving dish? A tie between my uncle's broccoli cheese casserole and my Dad's glazed sweet potatoes.
@returning_bump_member ahhh I keep trying to get my husband to feel kicks, but it’s like she can sense it’s him and stops right before he puts his hand on my belly every time!! So frustrating. He just laughs and says “you’re lying, there’s no baby in there”. So jealous you’re able to get the timing right!

I can't get comfortable at night anymore, sleeping on my side my belly just feels unsupported, even with a pregnancy pillow Rants/Raves: Disney on Friday for a week!! Excited to take my girls but excited for it to be over, lol so much stress & planning & money has gone into this trip, just hoping once I get there I am able to let go of all the need for perfection in planning & just enjoy the moment (and that at 19 weeks pregnant all that walking & heat doesn't get the best of me!)
GTKY: What is your favorite Thanksgiving dish? I'm kind of bummed about Thanksgiving this year. My family is having it at a family members country club instead of hosting at home, so it's not the same homemade dishes we've grown up with. I'm usually fine with outsourcing other events, but Thanksgiving just seems wrong to me, so I'm bummed out. I will miss my dads sweet potato casserole. I'll have to convince him to make it for Christmas!

Rants/Raves: not sure if this is a rant or a rave, but I got a pregnancy pillow on Saturday, but I still haven't been able to sleep very well. Hopefully my body starts to get used to the pregnancy pillow and it can help me sleep!
GTKY: What is your favorite Thanksgiving dish? Ugh I love it all but probably the mashed potatoes!
Upcoming Appointments: We had our anatomy scan today and everything seemed to look great. The little babe was being uncooperative and basically curling up in every conceivable position. There were a few views that were unclear, so we’re going back on 12/12 for another scan. The doctor said that I shouldn’t stress and that everything they were able to see today looked perfect. Oh, and it was confirmed that I have an anterior placenta. She was kicking, turning around, grabbing her toes…I barely felt a flutter lol.
How are you feeling?: I feel pretty good. I’m having some minor back pain. My husband ordered me a new pregnancy pillow (The Baby Bub?). Hopefully, it will make sleeping a little more comfortable.
Rants/Raves: My rave this week is that it’s my birthday on Friday! I love having a birthday close to Thanksgiving. It makes it so easy to celebrate with family.
GTKY: What is your favorite Thanksgiving dish? I love a sweet potato casserole!
@MsBeachNJ Have fun at Disney! We went the week of Thanksgiving two years ago and loved seeing all the Christmas decorations. Your girls are going to have the best time!
@MsBeachNJ I hope you guys have an amazing time in Disney! And I totally hear you on the disappointment in eating out on Thanksgiving. My MIL took the whole family to St John the one year over Thanksgiving (which was amazing and so so generous of her), but eating out on Thanksgiving definitely felt weird. And no leftovers the next day
@v_flowers let me know what you think of the Baby Bub. I also have it in addition to my Boppy. Let's compare notes. Also, yay for a good-ish AS! Dang the uncooperative babe. And good that you now know about the anterior placenta.
@etnyah LOL at baby stopping to move whenever your H tries to feel her. Since I still can't feel anything, I just rely on my doppler to keep me sane. Whenever I use it, H always asks "still in there? Hasn't escaped?" *eyeroll* Enjoy your 2 weeks off!
@shoogapoff I feel your pain re: doula decision! I have so many good ones available to me, and most of them are available but I'm stumped as to how to make a decision! What criteria are you looking for? I meet with one more next week, and then I'll probably have to decide.
@mcmanda4321 which pregnancy pillow did you get? You can see my current sleeping complaint in the Randoms channel.

Upcoming Appointments: Nothing until my next OB appointment on Dec 9!
How are you feeling?: With exception of sore hips from sleeping on my sides, I'm feeling great! Although, I'd be lying if I said I'm not taking anything to help with sleep. I am, and it's doxylamine (an antihistamine; the active ingredient in Unisom) which is pregnancy-safe and I don't think I could survive without it.
Rants/Raves: I didn't take the week off from work, because I want to enjoy getting a lot of things on my to-do-list done while most people are away! I was super productive today. Hoping for a repeat tomorrow and Wed!
A friend's been visiting since Saturday, and she's staying through until tomorrow. But then I have another friend coming tonight and staying through until Friday. Friend coming today is bringing her new dog (he's a rescue) and apparently he has some behavioral issues so I'm a tad worried that he and my dog won't get along so... my stress level might be high as a result. We shall see.
In other news, I'm getting closer to making a decision re: nursery chair after spending the weekend driving around and trying out a bunch of them. I am actually leaning towards a La-Z-Boy chair since I feel like it's most comfortable for me, and the advice I got here and elsewhere is to prioritize for my comfort.
GTKY: What is your favorite Thanksgiving dish? I really enjoy a properly cooked turkey with homemade cranberry sauce.

How are you feeling?: good actually. Been getting more sleep lately and that has been really nice
Rants/Raves: my family is so pumped for our little one to arrive. I'm one of the youngest in my whole family and all of my cousins plus my brother have had so many kids between them. I was a bit sad that I thought my family would be burnt out on babies and not be as excited for me, but man I was wrong! So much love and excitement coming from every person, it is so heartwarming.
GTKY: What is your favorite Thanksgiving dish? I'm not too big on the traditional sides but I always love me some mashed potatoes with homemade turkey gravy!
@acleverusername I got this one from Amazon (momcozy?)! The first two nights were meh but last night I slept great! We'll see if it continues!! https://a.co/d/7IE13eM
Baby is the size of: sweet potato (how fitting for this week!)
Team blue/pink/green: we know 😊 will share here soon after we have told family/friends!
Upcoming Appointments: just had my anatomy scan yesterday, which went well! Baby was moving like crazy and growing right on par. We scheduled out appointments through the end of February… anyone else feel like their pregnancy is flying by?
They also said baby was breech, which I thought was odd since I’m only almost 19 weeks I don’t recall them mentioning this with my son? Assuming it’s fine as my OB didn’t mention it at all How are you feeling?: Overall great! My boobs are still so sore & I’m still pretty moody 😇 I’ve been noticeably more hungry the last week.
Rants/Raves: we moved my son into his “big boy room” this past weekend and he has done SO well. My husband and I were anxious on how it would go but my son loves his big bed and has been telling everyone that he has a big boy room 😂 no rants this week yet… but it’s only Tuesday haha
GTKY: What is your favorite Thanksgiving dish? We love Thanksgiving and love to cook. I love Sweet Potato Casserole and the main event… the turkey! 🦃
@acleverusername yay on almost coming to a decision on a chair! If I could do a lazy boy I would! We just don't have the room in our tiny house! And I am also STILL not feeling baby moving. It's really messing with me because even with my son who had anterior placenta, I was feeling consistent movement by 19 weeks. Really not sure what's up this time.
@allykat92 that's awesome your whole family is so excited for you! Big families with lots of kids are so fun, especially at the holidays! We grew up with all our cousins around and it was awesome. I'm so grateful my kiddos get to experience the same
@MsBeachNJ oh Disney sounds like such an exciting thing to do! We are waiting until our kids are older (7, 4, and 3 ish), but my sister's oldest will be 9 and might have lost the magic by then, but I hope not!!! Have such a great time! And i will say that the last 4 or so years we have had very unconventional Thanksgiving due to my kids being born around Thanksgiving, plus covid. Last year we stayed home and ordered Boston Market, and while it wasn't a home cooked meal, and we missed our families, it was actually nice to be able to sit back and relax and not stress. Hoping you end up loving your non traditional Thanksgiving.

Baby is the size of: and endive
Team blue/pink/green: green
Upcoming Appointments: Nov 28 for normal OB appointment, Nov 30 for MFM scan of baby's heart and possible echo if necessary.
How are you feeling?: OK physically, emotionally and mentally drained
Rants/Raves: I found out today my triglyceride levels are REALLY high. Apparently this increases risk for GD and preterm birth, as well as Pre-E and pancreatitis. So this should be a fun adventure Fortunately I'm already being closely monitored by MFM so I guess I will just need more blood work to keep checking my levels. Still worried about Baby's heart too. And not feeling movement on top of all this is just really making me worry that something is wrong.
GTKY: What is your favorite Thanksgiving dish? I love apple pie and all the sides: stuffing, green bean casserole, and mashed potatoes with gravy!
Thanks for all the well wishes for Disney! Hope it's everything we are hoping for & more!!
@enw1028 I wouldn't worry at all about the baby being breech - my first was breach up until 39 weeks, they were going to schedule me for a c-section, and then she just turned on her own... they'll move around every which way between now & then!
@acleverusername For me, I'm making sure they're not overly crunchy or judgy of potential interventions, since I'll be attempting a VBAC. I also asked them if they've been involved in VBACs and/or c-sections to see if they were comfortable if that's the route this goes. And I think it's important to ask when they'll come to you (would they come to your home?) or at what point they'll come when you're at the hospital. Some won't come until you're in active labor, but I think they should come whenever you need them. And I'm asking how many clients they take on in a month, to see how likely it is that they'll have to call in a back-up doula. And I'd ask if they have a designated back-up, and if you can meet them. My best friend is a midwife and she said spinning babies certification is a big plus, though one of my top people doesn't have that.
It helps that we used a doula last time, so I know what I liked. I wish we could use the same person again, but she's too far away since we're delivering somewhere else this time.
@v_flowers@scaredunprepared I felt the baby move / kick for the first time last night!!! A while back, I read somewhere that having a glass of milk is really helpful to get them going and I did that last night and oh boy did it ever work!!! It was so sweet. Maybe try that!
@shoogapoff oooh excellent tips! I hope you find one that you jive with! Btw, I came across this blog post last week about getting doula services covered w/ appropriate CPT codes, and it turns out that my insurance does in fact cover it! Something to check with your insurance on!
@enw1028 omg, I feel the opposite... the pregnancy is dragging on! It was going so fast initially when I was having weekly scans, blood tests, but now it's like.... 18 weeks and change more of this?! Hahaha. I also scheduled all of my appointments through Mar 31 when I went to see my OB on Oct 11, so while that was a bit overwhelming at the time, that's now long forgotten.
@mcmanda4321 I did come across the momcozy one in my research on how to cushion my hips, but I'm afraid my husband and dog will not allow me to bring something so big into bed with me! Then again, they might not have a choice! Muahahahaha.

@acleverusername Yay! I’m so excited to hear that you felt a kick! That’s a good tip! I will definitely try out the milk trick. I’ve felt a few things here and there, but right now it is still so subtle and infrequent that it could easily be discounted.

I think I might've felt my first kicks last night, too! But I honestly can't say that confidently. We'll see how the anatomy scan goes today!
@acleverusername yes I was worried about my husband getting annoyed by the size of the pillow too, but I actually have rolled over a few times to find him using it too 😂
@shoogapoff I just chose a doula last week, and that decision was so hard! I had no idea what I was looking for and I feel like maybe I should've interviewed more, but I guess we'll see for next time!
@mcmanda4321 we only interviewed one doula with my first baby, and she was great. I didn't even know what to ask, so my questions were super general. I think as long as you felt comfortable with them, that's the most important thing!
@shoogapoff that makes me feel better! We interviewed two, the first one I liked but I wanted to talk to at least one more for comparison. The second one was just so easy to talk to, and I felt comfortable around her so we went with her. It really had nothing to do with their answers to the questions lol
Also, my anatomy scan went really well yesterday! I was so nervous because I hadn't felt much yet. They said I had an anterior placenta which could be why I don't feel it yet. He was definitely kicking away in there and I couldn't feel anything. Everything looked great and he's measuring a few days ahead. So relieved to hear that!

Team blue/pink/green: pink
Upcoming Appointments: AS on 12/14
How are you feeling?: some lingering nausea, especially with temp changes
Rants/Raves: We're trying to decide between 2 doulas, and I cannot make up my mind!
Probably stuffing. I also really like pumpkin pie. I do not like green bean casserole, although maybe I've just never had a good one.
EDD/Weeks+Days: April 10/ 20 weeks
Baby is the size of:
Team blue/pink/green: finding out Wednesday!
Upcoming Appointments: Anatomy Scan Wednesday
How are you feeling?: good!
@etnyah I’m sorry you’re still nauseous!
EDD/Weeks+Days: 4/16, 19+1
Baby is the size of: forget 🤦🏼♀️
@iiirene I have the first appointment on Wednesday too, so so ready to go right now though haha!
DD born 4/1/2023
Baby #3 EDD 11/21/2024
EDD/Weeks+Days: 18+1 EDD 4/23
Baby is the size of: 8+ inches
Team blue/pink/green: Team green till delivery
Upcoming Appointments: Regular 4 week appt tomorrow morning, Anatomy Scan on 12/6
How are you feeling?: Insomnia and discomfort are back... I can't get comfortable at night anymore, sleeping on my side my belly just feels unsupported, even with a pregnancy pillow
Rants/Raves: Disney on Friday for a week!!
EDD/Weeks+Days: 20w6d
Baby is the size of: box of dryer sheets?? Lol
Team blue/pink/green: he's a boy!
Upcoming Appointments: anatomy scan Wednesday!
How are you feeling?: mostly tired but otherwise good!! Also anxious because I haven't felt him move yet. Feeling like @cortsull0724 just excited to see everything is okay on Wednesday!
Rants/Raves: not sure if this is a rant or a rave, but I got a pregnancy pillow on Saturday, but I still haven't been able to sleep very well. Hopefully my body starts to get used to the pregnancy pillow and it can help me sleep!
EDD/Weeks+Days: 4/11; 19w6d
Baby is the size of: Nope
Team blue/pink/green: Pink!

EDD/Weeks+Days: Apr 2, 21+2
Baby is the size of: a baby measuring 1 week ahead
Team blue/pink/green: keeping it a secret

Baby is the size of: an artichoke
Team blue/pink/green: pink!
Upcoming Appointments: tomorrow/Wednesday. follow up
How are you feeling?: good actually.
EDD/Weeks+Days: 18w6d, due April 19
Baby is the size of: sweet potato (how fitting for this week!)
Team blue/pink/green: we know 😊 will share here soon after we have told family/friends!
Upcoming Appointments: just had my anatomy scan yesterday, which went well! Baby was moving like crazy and growing right on par. We scheduled out appointments through the end of February… anyone else feel like their pregnancy is flying by?
How are you feeling?: Overall great!

EDD/Weeks+Days: 21 Weeks today
@enw1028 I wouldn't worry at all about the baby being breech - my first was breach up until 39 weeks, they were going to schedule me for a c-section, and then she just turned on her own... they'll move around every which way between now & then!
It helps that we used a doula last time, so I know what I liked. I wish we could use the same person again, but she's too far away since we're delivering somewhere else this time.

Team blue/pink/green: Planning to reveal for Christmas!
Upcoming Appointments: Had our anatomy scan this morning, next appt 12/22
How are you feeling?: Sore, still exhausted from having company all weekend, but relieved to be feeling more and more flutters
Rants/Raves: Grateful things went well this past weekend, but it sucks feeling like I have to tiptoe around certain dramatic family situations. It’s draining….
EDD/Weeks+Days: Due 4/12; 20 weeks today
Baby is the size of: banana
Team blue/pink/green: we know! We will share with our families tomorrow!
Upcoming Appointments: Glucose test is in December; about 4 weeks from now
How are you feeling?: pretty good!
Rants/Raves: Yay half baked! 🤣
