    EDD / Weeks + Days: Feb 1st, 19w

Baby is the size of a(n): Mango!

    Team blue/pink/green: Blue!

Upcoming Appointments: Next week I have my anatomy scan and a regular check up with the midwife.

How are you feeling?: Feeling okay. I have been seeing a chiropractor for my pelvic pain and it seems to help short term, but not long term. I'm going to discuss with my midwife at my next appt to see if she has any other suggestions.

Rants/Raves: We had a family wedding this past weekend and while it was an absolute blast, I am still SO TIRED. I could literally sleep for a whole day. I did have to leave the wedding early due to being on my feet in heels for 5 hours and then having terrible pelvic pain, which honestly sucked, but the rest of the weekend was so much fun that it really made up for it.

Questions: For STM+, what items did you get for baby that you didn't have previously? For instance, I want to get a new monitor with two cameras, a new basinet because I hated our first one, and a new diaper bag. Any other things you wanted that were different from one baby to the next?

GTKY: Hi ladies! As we have a pretty quiet board, so I thought I'd ask a few more GTKY questions for fun! Answer what you feel like 😊

    1. What is your ideal pizza? I am just a plan Jane. My favorite is gold fever though, it's a mix of honey mustard and bbq sauce.

    2. If you could change your career, no questions asked, what would you change it to? I am a travel agent on the side, and I would love to have that build up enough for it to be my full time job. My fellow agents who do only that are able to travel so often and to amazing places, and I really want that life.

    3. What are you looking forward to the most during your pregnancy? Feeling more consistent movement. At my NT scan I am pretty sure they mentioned that I have an anterior placenta so while I have felt some movement, it's not consistent at this point and I really look forward to that. DS wants to feel the baby kick too, so that is another reason I am really looking forward to it.

    EDD / Weeks + Days:  17+1

Baby is the size of a(n): pomegranate

    Team blue/pink/green: green

Upcoming Appointments: not until the anatomy scan on 10/7

How are you feeling?: still feeling like crap at night. So tired of the constant nausea. Also super bad pelvic pain flaring up.

Rants/Raves:  Had a really good weekend last weekend and looking forward to a good weekend this weekend. Rant is I just have been feeling kind of down lately which sucks.

    Questions: nothing at the moment

GTKY: Hi ladies! As we have a pretty quiet board, so I thought I'd ask a few more GTKY questions for fun! Answer what you feel like 😊

    1. What is your ideal pizza? I love pineapple and pepperoni. Otherwise all the veggies minus mushrooms because I hate mushrooms.

    2. If you could change your career, no questions asked, what would you change it to? I worked so hard to become a social worker and it’s really my ideal job.

    3. What are you looking forward to the most during your pregnancy? More baby movement! Baby was moving so much when they used the Doppler you could hear it. But I’m not really feeling much. It helps so much with my anxiety.

@cat0214 I'm not in the US so my brands aren't American but I love Beyond Nine (UK-based) as they have clothes that work during pregnancy and after and are super comfortable. An Australian brand I liked last pregnancy is called 'Bae the label' and they have comfy pieces that look like normal clothes and are more streamlined. Beyond Nine is a more baggy style, just depends what you prefer.

Baby is the size of a(n): Artichoke

    Team blue/pink/green: Green til birth

Upcoming Appointments: Level II ultrasound next week for 20 week scan and an OB visit the week following. Switching back to my OB after trying a midwife and not liking it. In high risk after severe preeclampsia last time and I haven't felt like the midwives care enough and are too zen for a serious concern.

How are you feeling?: Really faint all of the sudden. I've had bad allergies all week and I feel so lightheaded.

    Rants/Raves:

Raves: Grateful for my husband's partnership as we navigate a high risk pregnancy together. We've been through a lot after losing our first two pregnancies and an emergency c-section with severe postpartum preeclampsia last time. I'm really thankful for the self-care routine I have this time. I had my first prenatal massage today.

    Questions:

    GTKY:

    1. What is your ideal pizza? Chicken, BBQ sauce, banana peppers, purple onion, mozzarella.

    2. If you could change your career, no questions asked, what would you change it to? A nurse or a teacher

    3. What are you looking forward to the most during your pregnancy? Being done and at peace in the postpartum period once I'm in the clear for preeclampsia. I have been so nauseous up until now and I do not enjoy pregnancy.

Baby is the size of a(n): artichoke

    Team blue/pink/green: blue 💙🌈

Upcoming Appointments: my anatomy scan is scheduled on Monday! Can’t wait to see him in action again!!

How are you feeling?: I have difficulty eating later in the evening, for some reason it really upsets my stomach and NOTHING sounds appetizing even though I’m so hungry.

Rants/Raves: While I’m so grateful to have made it this far with a happy and healthy pregnancy, it’s been difficult to mentally accept that none of my button/zipper bottoms fit anymore. I’m definitely in between sizes for everything right now, and and having issues with the heat waves that are hitting CA and being pregnant and teaching in a classroom/living in a home without AC 😅🥵

    Questions:

    1. What is your ideal pizza?
I’m literally obsessed with thin crust pepperoni pizza w/ extra sauce, artichoke hearts (like every other woman on here 😂), crushed garlic, and red onions. I probably eat it about once a week from my favorite pizza place, but I feel like because it’s a mile walk to it from my house that the calories don’t truly count 😜

    2. If you could change your career, no questions asked, what would you change it to?
As a teacher for the past eleven  years, I feel appreciative of my career but the burnout and lack of respect/support is so real. If I could do anything over, I would have really considered perusing a career in marriage and family counseling rather than immediately beginning  graduate school for teaching and jumping straight into my career after graduating with my undergraduate degree in human development and family studies.

    3. What are you looking forward to the most during your pregnancy?
Again, very grateful, but as a habitual stomach sleeper my entire life, I’m truly looking forward to a solid night’s rest snoozing on my tummy!

@kb1322, omg, same! I’m a stomach sleeper. It’s so hard to sleep any other way, and I still end up on my stomach by morning often. I’m at 18 weeks, but I know my belly will be big enough at some point and that won’t be possible anymore. 😆

@kb1322 and @karbaud I've always been most comfortable on my stomach but it did a number on my neck. My chiropractor suggested putting something there to stop me. So I use a big body pillow to kind of keep me on my side...yet I'm still comfortable because I'm flat against something. Works great for pregnancy too. Just as good as those expensive pregnancy pillows. 😉
