I just saw your post below about tvs.  Make sure you know the dimentions of your living room before you go looking at larger tvs.  When we went to Best Buy they had a little formula they used to figure out how big would be too big in any given space.  I'm glad we took their suggestion of what size to get.  FIL decided to go 5 inches bigger than they suggested and I get a headache every single time we watch tv at their house!

Definitely listen to that. DH is an a/v guy, and spends a lot of time trying to tell clients that they need bigger or smaller screens for the rooms that they are in. They only listen about half the time.

Thanks for the advice!  H knows ALL about that formula.  He's a total tech nerd and researches the crap out of ev.er.y.thing. so he's already covered all the bases and determined what size we "need."

I know what you mean, though.  I hate when TVs are too big (or too small) for a room.  Totally ruins it!
