@gravcass We’re doing a very low key baby moon in like October. We go to CA central coast a lot to visit my parents but we rarely ever stay in a hotel (usually on my parents couch) so this time we’re going to stay at an actual beach side hotel, order in food, and do the actual vacation thing. It’s cold (to me) there in October so we’re hoping it will be cheaper than usual. It’s only a few hours away for us so nothing too elaborate.
@k_keyser1996 I wear hospital issued (surgical) scrubs so I just size up a size in pants when needed and switch to stretchy maternity tees under a hospital jacket when I outgrow my usual top size. When I had my first I did the same but had to provide scrubs with that job and just got slightly larger drawstring pants, nothing fancy. I found true maternity scrubs to be really awkward, ugly, and expensive. Maybe things have changed, though. I do have leeway because I’m an NP and we typically can wear whatever we want within reason and don’t have a strict dress code.
@Wishilivedinflorida where I work I can definitely get away with the stretchy shirt but I have to wear actual scrub pants. So I may talk to my Manager and see what he recommends when I tell him I’m pregnant.
