Audrey?

We have a little girl named Claire. I picked her name out honoring a relative and my husband loved it. So easy! We are expecting another girl and my husband loves the name Audrey. It reminds me of “little shop of horrors” and sounds like laundry. Do others think Audrey is a pretty name? (I’m willing to compromise!) Any other suggestions for a name for Claire’s sister? One thing of note: we are French and American citizens.

I know a few young Audry's (elementary age) and it is a perfectly fine name!

Audrey is beautiful and timeless. Elizabeth, Lucille, Grace, and Madeline also fall into this category for me.

If you aren’t completely on board with Audrey, I have a friend who’s little girls name is Aubrey and I like her name a lot. You’re still honoring what your husband likes but you may like that variation a little better. Do whatever makes you comfortable. :)

My daughters name is Aubrey, and I kind of wish we went with Audrey. People always call her Audrey. It’s such a classy name!! I’m team Audrey for sure. It pairs well with Claire too!!

My daughter is Audrey Rose and I still love her name. We receive compliments all of the time. Baby girl 2 is arriving soon, and Claire has been floated around funny enough!
