Any thoughts about this cycle? Meh. Sex felt more like a chore this cycle which is frustrating. Timing was okay, but we're maxed out now because we leave for a trip with other people this afternoon.

Rant/Rave? It is almost my DD's birthday! I can't believe she will be five. She is becoming such a fun kid and I feel like a nostalgic old lady thinking of how the time has flown by.

GTKY: Do your kids like the pool/swimming? Favorite pool game? My kid is a mermaid! She loves the water. She loves diving sticks and tag in the pool. This week will be her first time at the beach!

Any thoughts about this cycle? I’m coming off of a MMC and I was on a long vacation. We came back Saturday and my OPK was a little dark and has gotten lighter since so I think I Oed on cd 16. I’m going with that.

Rant/Rave? I do not want to go back to work tomorrow. After being off for almost two weeks I’m dreading it. I went in for a few hours yesterday just to make my way through the 1,000 emails in peace alone in advance of the shit show that awaits me tomorrow. 

GTKY: Do your kids like the pool/swimming? Favorite pool game? My son loves the pool! We have one and he goes in every chance he gets. We love good old Marco Polo.

@ReadyForaB Going back after vacation is so rough! I hope it isn't as bad as you are thinking it will be. Also, super jealous that you have a pool!

@abjm0325 it is crazy how time flies with kids. Everyone always say that but you don’t really understand until you have one. Have a fun beach trip!

@ReadyForaB +1 for being jealous of your pool. We don’t go as often because I’m too lazy to get everything together to take a toddler to the pool. Though it is nice to not have to maintain ours in our neighborhood.

Rant/Rave? We had a BBQ yesterday and almost everyone asked if we are planning on having another. Mind your business people! I do love watching my son play with our friends kids though. Brings so much happiness to my heart. 

GTKY: Do your kids like the pool/swimming? Favorite pool game? Yes! He’s a water lover and I’m glad our housing development has a pool. Neither my 20 year old niece nor my 13 year old nephew know how to swim so it’s important to me that my son learns pretty young.

Rant/Rave? Not super celebratory today… not feeling my freedoms. 🤷🏼‍♀️ But I’m enjoying time with DS since his sitter is off! Also, I randomly interviewed for a teaching position in another district last week… I am anxiously awaiting my phone call. It’s more money, and I could quit coaching, which gives me my fall evenings back with DS, so… I want this one. 

GTKY: Do your kids like the pool/swimming? Favorite pool game? He is OBSESSED with swimming! We are on round 2 with swim lessons, and he loves every minute of it.

My kids love the pool, love it. My bigs are good swimmers, my 5 year old isn't yet. We love a game called washing machine, its like a guessing game.

Rant/Rave? DD's birthday party is on Sunday! The last thing I need to do is make a display for all of her daycare art: my friend did this for her daughter's birthday last year and I loved the idea. I'm also going to explain to our guests that there will be no "happy birthday" song and no formal presentation of the cake: DD is afraid of fire, and by extension the "happy birthday" song, and by extension...cake. She had a total meltdown upon seeing MIL's birthday cake last week. So if anyone wants to see the awesome galaxy cake I ordered, they can just peek into the box in the kitchen. DH will cut slices for everyone when it's time to eat it.

GTKY: Do your kids like the pool/swimming? Favorite pool game? DD LOVES swimming, and our favorite pool game right now is "please stop standing on my shoulders in deep water." For a kid who is afraid of cake, she has no problem doing acrobatics during swim class. But last week she learned how to do scoop arms and is getting used to exiting the pool safely!

@abjm0325 five years went super fast for my little.  She will be in Kindergarten starting next month and I cannot believe it.

@iiirene People really need to mind their business, people don't ask me if I am having another, obviously. But they definitely think that I shouldn't have another and let their opinions be known.

@bbrahmbhatt DD1 is a clomid baby.

I am insanely anxious about the FET mainly because if it doesn't work, we are done.  That crushes me but it is what it is.

@mambo5-2 I'm sorry, it has to be really, really hard to know you're on your last attempt. Sending you hugs.

Did you use Clomid for any of your other pregnancies? I'm curious if it will work again, so looking for some anecdotal evidence. My OB seems to think there's a good chance it would work again, but who knows.

@bbrahmbhatt only for DD1 but if it had taken longer than 6 months I would have used it again.  DD2 was like 3 months.

@hestia-is-wearie Aw, your poor DD. My DD went through a phase where she was afraid of smoke detectors (after one went off) and would not walk under one. That was always fun with the one at the top of our stairs. 😬

@abjm0325 FX for you! I used it with DD, and I'm thinking we'll move to use it again soon. DH wanted to try "naturally" for a little while due to the risk of multiples, but I don't think we're going to be successful on our own. I think he wants to do one more and then we'll go to Clomid.

My body and brain are both being pretty dumb right now. Logically I know that coming off BC is what is messing with my LP but for the last 3 cycles it has made it shorter, and now it seems to be extra long. It had been pretty consistently 11 days and now I’m 15 DPO and no sign of AF. The completely illogical part of my brain keeps taking pregnancy tests every day expecting to see a positive. The illogical part of my brain is also remembering not testing positive until my period was super late with my son and holding out hope. But at the same time I wasn’t tracking ovulation when I got pregnant with him.
