Possible twin pregnancy?

Hello! I went to the doctors today for my first
appointment at 6 weeks. The doctor found my
first sac which had a healthy baby with a strong
heartbeat, thank god. But he also moved it over
to a SECOND sac but this one was empty. He
said that he doesn't think it is a twins but later on
he was talking and he said "if it is twins".
. then
talked about medication. I wanted to know if
anybody else has had experience with this and if
the twin ended up popping up or did the other
baby absorb it? Thank you!

Oh that's so exciting (and maybe scary, depending on if having twins is something you'd want or not!). I personally do not have any multiples in my family, immediate or extended, but I'm wishing you the best of luck either way ☺️
