Product Spotlight: Sound Machines

Sound machines. Do you need one? And if so, what works? What doesn't? What brands do you recommend? Let’s all get some sleep!

Re: Product Spotlight: Sound Machines

  • We use the Hatch and love it. You can set programs on it so it has a bedtime and a wakeup, with the light and sound you choose. I've actually been torn about what to do when second baby arrives, because she'll sleep in our room for awhile, but I don't want to take it out of DS's room because he loves it. I might just get a cheaper little toy one or something to tide her over over? I found once we started using the Hatch DS slept soooo much better so highly highly recommend a white noise of some kind, be it a fancy one or just a loud fan in the room.
  • I have the big rooster one from Amazon and love it. It's basic but it works well.

  • We got a $20 Conair sound machine from Amazon and it’s still going strong after 8 years.
