This was my fifth round of IVF. Had my transfer on March 29th- found out he/she stuck on April 3. My first beta was on Thursday, came back at 119.3! My next blood draw is on Monday
Hi! I had my transfer on March 28, first beta yesterday was 105. I have another blood draw on Monday too! I'm feeling good about it but hate repeat Betas.
I am 5 weeks today via IVF! My first beta on 12dp5dt was 1,164 (only transferred 1 embryo) and I have my 2nd beta on Tuesday (which will be 1 week after my 1st beta). So nervous and anxious about everything!
Hi ladies! I had my 5day fet on March 23rd and came up pregnant nine days after on my beta. My numbers have been consistently doubling and due for my first ultrasound Monday morning. So nervous! Wishing you ladies all the best.
Got my second beta numbers back! They're increasing very well! I went from 105 to 327 so they tripled in three days. Only thing is my Progesterone went from 47.5 to 28 so they want me to take endomentrin in addition to the PIO shots I'm doing. One more blood draw to check P levels on Wednesday but I'm over the moon because I was most worried about HCG.
yay!! So happy to hear that!! Glad they caught the progesterone, but anything above 25 is still considered good. I got mine back today too. My progesterone levels were 26 today & my doctors is keeping my injections the same- so don’t worry! On April 7, Beta was 119 and today were 473!
my next appointment is a week from today. I hate that I have to wait a week.
so glad I have an IVF/Baby buddy! How far along are you considered? I am 4 weeks & 4 days today
Awesome!! I'm 4 weeks, 5 days. Oh that's good to know! I had a an MMC last year after a FET so I'm assuming they're just trying to keep it really high. I think the issue is that I'm using ethyl oleate this time and previously used sesame oil, and it doesn't absorb as well.
Whatever I'm already doing estrogen suppositories so what's one more haha.
All worth it for this little bean! My son is 3.5 and was from a FET too so I have a lot of faith in the process.
2nd FET was on March 15th…Hcg levels have been great so far. (Had a miscarriage on our first round of IVF) First ultrasound is tomorrow! Nervous but hopeful. I feel a lot different this time.
I am a surrogate transferred on March 30th. I have had positive at home tests but the line never seemed to get darker. My first blood test showed my HCG at 53 at 12dp5dt. I have my next one tomorrow and I am scared.
Any low results with positive outcomes out there have advice?
I had my 5AA embaby transferred on March 29th. Beta on April 7th came back positive at 224! I had my second beta yesterday with a result of 1886, final beta this Friday and ultrasound next week. So hopeful this little one stays with us! We had a recent MC right before this IVF cycle in January. Definitely feeling tired and a few headaches but just glad to be feeling something.
They told me at 11dp5dt that anything over 100 is good, and I got 105 so was worried but it ended up tripling fine. Did they tell you what their threshold is? I've heard varying levels of what is ok. The progression is what matters. Good luck!!
Question: so my third beta came back at 848 which means it increased really well from two days ago 327. My progesterone is also back up to 47. So all looks good. But now because my initial number was so low, they want me to have a early ultrasound next Monday. I'll be 5 weeks, 5 days by then. They just said they're being extra cautious but I've never had one this early.
Any thoughts? I had an MMC a year ago so my guess is they're being extra careful but I still hate the anxiety lol. I would have been happy to wait a few more weeks for a dating scan.
I have my first scan on Monday too & I am one day behind you. I also have my 3rd beta check then too. Apparently it is normal procedure at my fertility clinic. I wouldn’t worry!
Thank you for the reassurance!! The last two times I did one beta and then one US before discharged to my GP. I'm feeling good about it still. I did a test today just for the heck of it and got a major dye-stealer (first time that's happened) so that made me feel better. Good luck on Monday!!
IVF momma here! Transfer was on March 29 and beta 4/7 was positive! So baby number 4 is on the way! 2 IVF FET babies and one surprise. All boys. First US with my clinic isn’t until 6.5 weeks 4/25. I hate the wait since they aren’t doing anymore betas so I just have to trust everything is going fine!
I just had my first early scan! All went well - sac measuring well and yolk sac looked great. Couldn't see little bean yet but will be able to in a few weeks! Also got my HCG checked again and it's over 6000. I'm so happy.
Hello all! I’m fiercely 40, married, a licensed psychologist and live in Chicagoland. This is my first! My 5-day FET was April 7th. First blood test was on Good Friday and it was indeed a very Good Friday :) HCG was 130. Repeat blood test was on Easter and my HCG was 419. We’re cautiously excited- ultrasound is next Friday. However we each got here, IVF can be tough! Praying we all take it day-by-day and take time to breathe through the process ❤️
So excited to see this thread. I had my FET on March 31. First beta at 12dp5dt was 776 and second at 14dp5dt was 2200. I have never been more excited and nervous in my entire life. This is our first positive test in 6.5 years of trying.
Thankful to have others to share the rollercoaster with.
My first transfer was on March 29th and she stuck! I got a vvvf positive on 5dp5dt, my first beta (8dp5dt) was 62 and the second was 164 (10dp5dt) I’ve never been pregnant before and it feels amazing to get this far. First ultrasound is on Thursday!
Hi everyone! IVF warrior here. Really excited/nervous to join this thread. My first ultrasound at 6 weeks 5 days is tomorrow. I’m incredibly nervous. I am 39 and have never been pregnant in my life due to endometriosis. This is our second FET. First one failed. My first beta at 12dp5dt was 528 and my second beta at 14dp5dt was 1511. I pray this little bean has continued to grow.
Curious to know how everyone’s first scan/ultrasound went!!
I am!! It's pur first round after 2 failed IUIs. Our transfer was April 7. My beta 2 days ago was 313, so I'm waiting to hear today what the next one is. Ah! So nervous! Congratulations mammas 🥰
Our first ultrasound was today and we were able to see her heartbeat! Hopefully next week we will be able to hear it! On that note, there was another white spot on the ultrasound that my NP noted in my chart online as “6.4 mm echoluscent area toward internal ost” I have no idea what that means. She asked to confirm that we only transferred one embryo and we did. Should I be worried?
Does anyone have any advice for irritation at the PIO injection spots? I’m really struggling with the shots and hopefully will have my protocol lowered in two weeks at my 8weekUS.
@ivfwaitedlongenough - I adore your username! Same sentiment and thrilled both of our transfers worked.
I too am on PIO injections and while I don’t have any good advice on the irritation I am sending a virtual hug! I keep reminding myself this stage and the continued medication is just temporary. Good luck and keep us posted!
Injections: my wife holds the vial in her armpit for 10 mins to heat up the oil before injecting. Sit on heating pad on low for an hour after. Lots of massage when it is first injected. Walking around helps too after heating pad. Good luck!
Hi all. I am 38, 5w1d today. I just had my 3rd beta and waiting for the call. The anxiety is really. Just finding it hard to be excited with a positve when the journey is rough and anything could happen. Anyone else out there scared sh*tless?
I'm scared shitless too! It's normal. I had an early scan on Monday and it looked good, my HCG and progesterone were great too. But last evening I started some very light brown spotting. Called the IVF doc and she reassured me it's totally normal. I haven't had any major cramping and it didn't get worse overnight. Regardless this stage is really hard. Hang in there!

My ultrasound is next Friday too (@ 6 week mark) so virtual hug to everyone.
Santa babies :)

let me know how the US goes on Thursday! I had one this Monday, and have another one next Monday.
Congratulations mammas 🥰
