Blood clot next to sack and measuring behind

I went for my first doctors appointment today.
I should be 6 weeks exactly but I was measuring 5. I know I’m 6 weeks I know the day I conceived.
The doctor was worried and he saw a big blood clot next to the sack.
Has anyone had this and it been ok?

Were you using OPK? Temping? Unless you had sex only one time the past month your ovulation can fluctuate and unless you are tracking. You do not know when you ovulate.  

What did your doctor say about the blood clot? If he was worried, what are the next steps?  Monitor, FU ultrasound? Specialist?

We only has sex once that month. We have two young kids you know how it gets 😅 so I know that is the day we conceived.

I have to go back in two weeks to get answers. 2 weeks is going to kill me.

@gemmasarah Sperm can wait for an egg up to 4-5 days, so it’s possible you ovulated a few days after and conception happened then! 💗 I don’t know about the blood clot but sending lots of positivity your way.

That is really good to know. I did a digital test 4 days ago and it said 2-3 and then I did one today and it said 3+ so that’s a positive.

My doctor is calling me this afternoon I made an appointment so I can ask all the questions I wish I asked yesterday.

I don’t have any known blood clots but i had 2 chemical pregnancies and my hematologist thinks blood clots could have been the issue for this. As soon as i got pregnant again he put me on Lovenox, it’s an injectable blood thinner. I will have to take it all 9 months + 2 months after delivery. It’s worth asking your OB about. Idk if once you have a blood clot if it can disperse it or if it’s meant to just prevent them all together. I also take baby aspirin for this. I would ask about both. Good luck to you 🙏🏻
