@fantasyflyte agreed. I can’t stand April fools day.
my confession - I’m not looking forward to the newborn stage 😬 mine are 4 and 6, I don’t miss their newborn days despite how much I was told I would. I enjoy parenting toddlers and older kids, the newborn sleep struggle is torture to me 😂
@Gingermom15 I don't like the newborn stage either, but that may also have something to do with the fact that both of my kids so far have been extremely colic.
It's 8:30 at night and I'm drinking a coffee. That's probably the lamest confession ever but I'm boring lol

@Gingermom15 my son is almost 4 and just started sleeping through the night a couple of months ago XD I've basically been sleep deprived for 4 years lol

@mflowers929 same with dd...she started sstn at around 3.5. She is still intense at night, but we discovered that she can listen to stories on the ipod to help her fall back asleep. The good news is ds just falls asleep. Dh and I don't understand how it is even possible after dealing with dd.
@mflowers929 I feel the pain 😩 as soon as we switched him to a toddler bed it was game over. He’s very sensory driven and I would often find him doing things like filling the bathtub and trying to turn in the oven at night. I ended up putting him in my bed with me and putting a child safety lock on the inside. We’re in the process of an adhd diagnosis and we’re hoping this helps him at night whatever the supportive care/therapy looks like. Melatonin is a beautiful thing for him once we got the recommendation from his ped.
@Gingermom15 oh yes, we started him on melatonin too! He just got an autism diagnosis, although truthfully I believe he's got ADHD that's got similar symptoms (mostly he doesn't look into your eyes, but I think he's just too busy to do it!). It's not a ton but yes, definitely life changing!
@ponyoisfun I'm hoping that my daughter sleeps through sooner than my son (she's 19 months tomorrow, waking up about twice) and seriously hoping that this new baby is an awesome sleeper. My luck it'll be the worst of the three XD

I ate a lot of sushi tonight for dinner… yes, raw fish… yes, I know I’m technically not supposed to when pregnant. But I trust this place, know their fish is fresh, and have never gotten sick from them before! Also… still super craving it and want even more. This was a bad rule to break so early in pregnancy. 3rd kid problems? Whoops…

When I get my dentures this may just be my first meal. I have literally been craving a huge amount of sushi since I had my son, almost 4 years ago. Haven't got around to getting it for one reason or another.

@sunshine2417 I had sushi last night for dinner too. I stuck to rolls with shrimp tempura and crab, but it just isn't the same. I could really go for a salmon roll.
I'm anxious about the newborn stage again. My DS was such a good sleeper. He was sleeping 6+ hrs through the night by 5 weeks. I'm sure I won't get so lucky again.
Re: Flame Free Friday Confessions 4.1
Also, I confess, I should be trying to sleep instead of searching for flame/confession gifs.
Hah! Its only 10:05 pm for me, two hours til I can wordle 😂
wow wow wow. I basically failed the LSAT and found the logic games monstrous so props to you!
Ugh, I’m not a social media wordle sharer. Those annoy me too 😆 Sudoku, yes! I enjoy that too.

@sejica my confession is that I have been very lax about my own screen time use in the night. It definitely does not help my pregnancy insomnia.
