The boy person came home with four boxes of Cheetos macaroni and cheese because they were 4 for a dollar. Then he made all of them. Surprisingly, it's actually pretty tasty, although we're going to have leftover mac and cheese for days.

Four prior losses, no living children - 1 first trimester miscarriage, 1 blighted ovum, 1 chemical, and one extreme premature live birth daughter who died at 15 days old.
He came home with 10 bags of brownie mix for the same reason. I swear to god, if the apocalypse happens, we won't run out of food for at least 6 months.

Certainly not the leftovers from last night that my husband heated up which contained Brussels sprouts. The smell has confined me to working in the bedroom with a very mild bowl of soup and some Girl Scout cookies. 🤢
There is another crockpot full of yummy yummy bean soup in the making, with tons of yummy veggies in it (sort of a "stone soup" deal where we're using up all the veggies on their last legs - a beet, half a turnip, a jalapeno, green onions, an onion, couple stalks of celery, half a head of bok choy)....so looking forward to it. Should be ready in about an hour!

This is just my homemade version. Vanilla ice cream, Hershey's special dark syrup, and a banana. So, really, it's a fruit salad, right?

Eating:Someone give me that fluffy sponge cake. I need it for my belly. Also full-fat Greek yogurt, fruit, veggies, fully-cooked eggs. Ready-made pulled pork and chicken tikka masala with sticky rice has been a lifesaver for work lunches that require zero prep. omg, SWEET POTATOES. Y’all, I do not want a world without them.
Also… thousand island dressing. It goes with everything except veggies, especially mac n cheese. It is amazing on a tortilla with a slice of cheese. This is not a healthy relationship but I completely accept that.
No longer eating: I had to return a Fage Greek yogurt to Costco because as of this week, nonfat yogurt does NOT AGREE with me. The sourness is too much and I can’t do it. I wish they’d have the plain, full-fat Chobani but I’ll go to Winco for that instead.
Also no longer enjoying my granola. I’ve had ZERO sweet cravings and now even my coconut granola is too sweet. I’d rather have yogurt with almonds and apples- I need that freshness/tang.
I seem to be moving away a little from peanut butter, but I’ll wait and see on that.
Apparently I should not have indulged by using all the balsamic dressing, or eaten all the Kalamata olives, for the salad my MIL treated me to yesterday, because I’ve been a bio weapon ever since then. I’m voluntarily sleeping on the couch due to gas. It says kind of a lot, we’re not too squeamish.
I miss eating steak how I like it, with a little bit of “moo” still in it. My FIL somehow finally cooked my steak perfectly after we first told them I was pregnant and it had to go back to being cooked. I also really miss sushi. I need some tamago and vegetarian sushi in my life. Then, I miss eating fast food AND a milkshake and not regretting my decision.
@kboydbowman I thought I wanted an Oreo blizzard so my other brought it home around 10pm when he was through with friends, SO disappointed. I guess this pregnancy is really different from my first I am so sad, it has sat in the freezer overnight 🙃😭 I air fried a package of chicken breast that was nearing its end in my fridge last night at 12am and it took a lot not to eat one, so juicy 🤤

I am sad that Fage has stopped making their 5% total. It was great for being both low sugar and high protein.

Pink oyster mushrooms, blue oyster mushrooms, kale, red onion, spinach, beets, spicy peach jam, squid, sashimi grade albacore tuna, and extra large brown eggs.

@mk2022x I’ve been researching sushi restaurants in the area by the hospital so I can make my husband pick some up for me as my first postpartum meal 😂 🤤
@mk2022x I have a whole list, tuna crispy rice, extra rare steak, costco hotdog... I could keep going. Luckily the hospital I am giving birth in is right next to many steak houses and sushi restaurants!
I finally am able to drink coffee today! It has been a long 2 months without it.
I was so excited I was feeling well enough this weekend that I made stew. After smelling it all day cooking, I could barely eat a bowl. There are 6 quarts of stew in the fridge and when I open the fridge and can smell it I don't want to eat anything. Stew or not stew. Before having children, beef was always my go to. Now it's the food item I can't even smell sometimes or I'm just done.
@dsmith211 lol I love it!!! I have a very particular place in mind that I must have 😂 I wonder if they will deliver to the hospital and meet my DH lol!
@mamamoomoo12 ooooh lucky! No shortage of good options for you! 😋 YEA COFFEE!!!! I cut mine out too but the smell somewhat grossed me out anyway during first tri. I had a half caf latte yesterday before our ultrasound and it was glorious! Worked too - William was all sorts of wiggly and pushing and kicking!
I am pleased. Boy person had hot dinner waiting for me when I got home, and it was even what I had asked for this morning (stir fried calamari, swiss chard, pink oyster mushrooms, brocolli, and bell peppers). Nom.

Yesterday I had an unstoppable craving for a donut. Hubby and his buddy stopped their video game to go get donuts. I had two. I was pleased. I NEVER want donuts lol
@melyrae baby was the size of a donut Sunday, so we got some to celebrate. I like the sour cream cake ones, but it wasn’t cooked all the way through. So disappointed. I hope yours satisfied the craving!
Does anyone have a good app that helps you track food groups rather than calories? I saw a great checklist somewhere (dont remember if it was here or another preg app) that had check boxes for how many servings of protein, carbs, fruits/veg etc a pregnant person should be eating. I have MyFitnessPal, but it's pretty aimed at calorie counting, which I don't really care about. I'm starting to feel like vegetables can make a return to my life so I want to make sure I'm getting enough!
During my last pregnancy, I just made my own spreadsheets w/categories for all the food groups, water, and vitamins, and just printed them out and then when I ate something I would record it in the appropriate column (e.g., hamburger would get recorded as "bun" in carbs and "hamburger patty" in proteins)

@dvmmomma MyFitnessPal also tracks macros. I use it for calories and macros and it’s been great for me to keep track of my protein intake. It also has a full Nutrient breakdown that you can review daily or weekly to check your vitamins and mineral consumption for that time period.
Is anyone else already planning out the first thing(s) you’ll eat the second the baby is out? Or is that just me 😂
seared salmon nigiri and my fave raw sushi roll are currently topping my list.
I found a workaround to still get my deli meat so I’ve scratched that itch for the meantime.
Our usual sushi place is literally next to my in-laws and so are a bunch of other great restaurants. The hospital is ~12 minutes away from their place. Imma be SET for whatever I am craving 😆
First night I’ve felt like real food, with a meat. My husband made spaghetti and garlic bread. Y’all it was so good and I’m so happy that maybe my eating habits are starting to get back to normal.
My new love/addiction is Canyon Bakehouse hamburger buns. I love ALL their bread but the whites are agreeing with the antibiotics. They have the best GF bread on the market where I am.
I will absolutely fight for my opinion 😂
On another note… not sure why but I have not craved Thousand Island Dressing aka My Magic Sauce this week. Might be the antibiotics.
I just bought a bottle of sriracha which I’ve literally never bought in my life! It’s been great on scrambled eggs, and scrambled eggs in general have been a good way to mix more veggies in. Also fruit, which I always ate lots of but now it seems like we have to stock up on berries multiple times a week. Cantaloupe and honeydew, too. Can’t get enough of those.
Today we are eating this soup, which I totally made the boy person collect the stuff for and make (minus pepper, since he's allergic) after a FB friend of mine posted about it the other day because it sounded SO GOOD. (It was.)

Nom. Cletus the Fetus requested some veggies, so the boy person made me a spicy stir fry with beet greens and stems, mushrooms, and shrimp.

Is there a separate thread for what we’re drinking? I didn’t see one.
CHERRY COKE. Seriously, I’ve considered it a crime against humanity since I moved to the USA, and my husband got some cherry coke “soda sauce” (what we call Soda Stream essence) and… I’m hooked. It has to be over ice or it’s gross, but over ice it is the current nectar of life itself to me.
You may have it. The only "brown" soda I like is plain old regular Pepsi. The boy person brought home a bunch of that Coke Starlight and it is soooooooooo sweet. Ugh.
